Nothing quite like a rainbow to make an already beautiful golf course look even better. 🌦️✨

The Rabbits V The Ladies annual event was played on Sunday 16th August in much cooler conditions but the golf balls were still bouncing and running well.

The final score was
Rabbits 162 Ladies 157

A friendly fun competition played with much laughter and banter resulting in a second consecutive win for the Rabbits.

A huge congratulations to the Lightcliffe Junior Section on winning the Halifax & Huddersfield Union Junior League! 👏👏

An incredible achievement, especially as the first Lightcliffe junior team to play in the league in over 10 years. A fantastic reward for all the hard work, commitment and team spirit shown throughout the season. 💪⛳

A massive thank you to every player who has represented Lightcliffe this year, Tim our professional for growing the section, to all the mums and dads who have helped throughout the season — your commitment and efforts have been outstanding, and this title is a fantastic achievement for the whole junior section.

Thursday 15th June was Lady Captains special day.

In a lot cooler conditions the annual competition was held.

The winner of the Sarah Wickens Salver was Anne Murphy.

The Thompson cup was won by Rachel Jackson.

A huge congratulations to all of our winners over the weekend—some fantastic golf was played and everyone should be proud of their performances. Congratulations to Kevin Render who took the main prize👏🏆

A special thank you and congratulations to our Mr Captain, Andy Bean, for hosting such a brilliant weekend. Your hard work and dedication helped make it a memorable event for everyone.

Finally, a massive thank you to all of the volunteers, staff, and everyone behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to keep the club running smoothly throughout the weekend. Your efforts are truly appreciated and made the event possible.

The 8th of July saw Lightcliffe’s Ladies’ Invitation Day

32 ladies played in a four ball better ball in brilliant sunshine and incredible heat
