π A mixed week for the Bullfrogs with victories, hard-fought battles and some excellent individual performances across the junior and senior sides πΈπ₯
The U11s faced two contrasting results this week. The 11 a side team secured a well earned victory over Kirk Deighton, with B. Taylor (21), O. Donnelly (19)* and F. Askew (15) leading the way with the bat πͺ
The U11 pairs side came up against a strong Pannal team, battling hard throughout despite ending on the wrong side of the result. Plenty of positives and valuable experience gained π
The U15s produced the standout performance of the week with an impressive win over Studley Royal.
J. Barraclough starred with an unbeaten 52* before returning to take 2 wickets, while J. Cannings ripped through the opposition with outstanding figures of 4-8 π₯
Thursday's T20 side found themselves up against Otley. C. Doughney top scored with 36 and also impressed with the ball, claiming 2-51, but Bilton were unable to chase down Otley's total.
Great effort across all age groups and formats, with plenty of encouraging performances to build on as the Bullfrogs continue to develop and compete πΈ

Bilton ladies took the field again at the Ripley cricket tournament on 31st May
Playing Ripley in the first game the ladies bowled first with stand out performances coming from Ellie Shuttleworth (3-0-19-1) and Caroline Stoyles (2-0-13-1).
Ripley set Bilton 126 with Vicky Lack and Caroline Stoyles the first pair in to start the chase.
Unfortunately Bilton came up short posting 82 in their 16 overs with Rae Robinson topping the scores with 10.
Biltons 2nd game saw them take on Beckwithshaw.
Batting first, the ladies got off to a fast start that was maintained throughout the innings.
Sophie Lawrence (16), Jo Graham (14), Caroline Stoyles (13) and Holly Fenn (13) underpinned a strong performance that saw Bilton post 124.
The recent bowling and fielding training the ladies have been doing paid dividends, with Bilton restricting Beckwithshaw to 107 with notable performances from Holly Fenn (3-0-18-1) and Sophie Lawrence (2-0-11-1).
The ladies go again on 21st June in Ripon. Whatβs this space for more updates.

A tough week on the results front for the Bullfrogs, but plenty of positives and some standout individual performances across the junior and senior sides ππΈ
The U11s battled hard against Ripon, with F. Askew top scoring with 19 in a spirited performance πͺ
Our T20 side were second best against New Farnley in a low-scoring contest, with D. Cummings leading the way with the bat, finishing unbeaten on 39 π₯
