We will help every child fulfill their potential, whether playing in the playground with friends or going on to play in a World Cup final. We aim to provide the platform to create the complete and perfect footballer but before any football considerations we hope to have played a role in helping them to become good young people. We do not select children on ability as we are confident of producing excellent footballers regardless of past experience. FDS Harrogate trains children from 5-18 years of age, with the training ongoing throughout the year. For our latest news visit www.facebook.com/fdsharrogate
FDS Harrogate is a place of learning and development. Our approach is of a long term nature integrating the technical, physical, and psychological and the tactical elements of the game, each geared towards the development of the elite eleven-a-side player. We have never bought into the myth of natural talent or overnight success, what we do believe in is hard work, perseverance and practice from which talent can emerge when honed over many years. We believe there are no limits to improvement, with the right mindset and quantity of practice our method of training will inspire players to push beyond existing limitations and transform the way young players involved in our programme train, play and live the game.
