Is this a woman thing
Just me
Or universal?

Have read and heard so many instances of people accessing hotel rooms when they are already occupied that I always add some extra security for peace of mind.

Am I alone in this?

We wrote a book about AI and equity. My daughter and I. Together.

AI for Equity: Creating a More Equitable Society for All is published by Emerald on 27 October, and you can pre-order it now.
Twelve practitioners. Four continents. The conversations behind our AI for Equity podcast, now on the page.

Here is what we found. AI is already being used, on purpose, to solve some of the world’s hardest equity problems. It is just happening at the edges rather than the centre. The pioneers have the intention. The institutions have the power. They are not yet the same people, and this book is about closing that gap.

You know me, theory was never going to be enough. So it gives you real case studies, actionable strategies and questions that will keep you thinking.

Whether you sit in the C suite, organise in your community, or simply care about fairness, this gives you the language to shape how AI gets built.

Co-authoring with has been one of the great joys of my working life. Ask us anything. The book, the writing, or what it is actually like to write a book with your own child.

Type pre order below and I’ll share the link for you to do so

Send this to the person you always end up debating AI with.

I have been trying to write this since Thursday and keep stopping.

We marked twenty years of my company - Jenny Garrett Global at the House of Lords, and what has stayed with me is not the room. It is who was in it.

People I have worked with for fifteen - twenty years. People I met irl for the first time. My family and friends. Participants of our programmes, who told their own stories and had us all in tears. My team, who made every moment happen.

I opened with a story about being a girl with tape over my mouth, and my grandfather who lifted me onto his shoulders so I could be seen. We all stand on someone’s shoulders to get here. Now it is our turn to be the shoulders.

Send this to someone who has given you a lift up, or paved the way for you.

I was recently made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of HR Professionals.

A quiet honour from a profession I’ve tried to shape for the better.

Grateful, and still curious about what comes next.

Here’s to the men stepping up for the next gen.

Last November, gave their time to a room full of teenage boys at our conference. What struck me was their honesty. They didn’t sell the influencer life as one long highlight reel - they talked about the highs and the lows, the real ones. And they weren’t chasing money. They were talking about purpose, and finding joy in the work you do.

There’s a lot competing for our boys’ attention right now, and not all of it has their best interests at heart. Which is exactly why it matters that they get to see men like this - men who show up, listen, and model something better.

Thank you, Josh and Moyo. The boys in that room won’t forget it. Neither will I.

Bookings for our November 2026 boys’ conference are now open. Head to to find out more and secure a place for a young man in your life.

Poetry is just your thoughts on a page.” ✍️ from Poetry Unity shared how writing can be a weight off your shoulders. For our young men, speaking up is a superpower for mental health. 🗣️💙

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. I’m marking it by walking 100 miles. And I’m asking you to move with me.
1 in 5 young people aged 16-24 in England is living with a common mental health problem.
For young women, it’s higher still - more than 1 in 3.
For young men, the crisis often goes unseen. 3 in 4 suicides in ages 5-35 are boys and young men.
Different crises. Same generation. Both heartbreaking. Both preventable.
Behind every statistic is a teenager trying to hold it together while waiting for support that may never come.
This is why Rocking Ur Teens CIC exists. For 13 years we’ve been building rooms where young people - boys and girls - feel seen, supported, and safe to dream bigger. Role models who look like them. Mentors who get it. Conversations that change what feels possible.
3,500+ young people. Still not enough.
Every mile I walk this month raises money for a large-scale teen empowerment event in 2027 - hundreds of teenagers in one room with the role models, mentors and conversations that shift the direction of their lives.
Three ways in:
→ Move with me. Walk, run, cycle, swim, dance. Your goal, your way. DM me and let’s do it together.
→ Donate. Link in bio. Any amount.
→ Share. Send this to one person who cares about young people.
100 miles. 31 days. For every teenager who deserves to feel seen.
