💜 THAT’S A WRAP FOR OUR INDOOR WINTER SEASON 💜
And just like that… the indoor season comes to an end.
A huge thank you to every single one of you who has come along to classes over the winter months. You have all worked incredibly hard and I am honestly so proud of the progress you’ve made — strength, fitness, confidence… it’s been brilliant to see 💪
There’s also been some amount of chatting and plenty of laughs along the way, which is exactly how it should be.
Numbers were a bit quieter tonight, but that’s Easter holidays for you, the effort from those who came along definitely made up for it!
A big thank you as well to St Andrews Church and St Mary’s Church Centre for the hall use over the season, it’s been very much appreciated.
Now… we head back to where bootcamp belongs.

💜 PERSONAL TRAINING SPACES AVAILABLE 💜
I have a small number of personal training slots available and I wanted to share this lovely feedback from one of my clients who combines PT with my bootcamp classes:

With Aberdeenshire on a major incident alert and the weather still causing bother, I know it’s been pretty treacherous getting about, especially for anyone more vulnerable.
I’m on foot today and have some free time from lunchtime, so if anyone around the Harlaw Road area of Inverurie needs help picking up food, prescriptions, or essentials, I am more than happy to go and pick stuff up and drop things off.
The snow has shifted a fair bit overnight, but there’s still a lot of it about and it’s not easy underfoot. If you need a hand, or know someone nearby that you would like me to check in on, just give me a shout.

Happy New Year!
Back to normal for most of us tomorrow… although the weather clearly didn’t get the memo!
Here is just a wee reminder of my current class timetable, along with a quick note about the weather this week.
📍 TUESDAYS – St Andrews Church (stand alone hall), Inverurie
🔥 AJS Bootcamp / Circuits – Progressive / Higher Intensity
🕕 6:10pm – 6:55pm
A faster-paced session for those already confident with circuits.
🌱 AJS Bootcamp / Circuits – Foundation / Return to Fitness
🕖 7:05pm – 7:50pm
A supportive, steadier-paced class ideal if you are new, returning to fitness, or building confidence.
📍 THURSDAYS – St Mary’s Church Centre
⚡ AJS Bootcamp / Circuits – Mixed Ability / Progressive
🕡 6:15pm – 7:00pm
A flowing mixed-ability session with options and progressions.

❄️ Weather update:
With the heavy snow and disruption we have had, safety is my priority. At the moment we are on an amber weather warning until 10am tomorrow (Monday), I will keep an eye on weather warnings.
👉 If the weather clears, classes will run as normal.
👉 If conditions are still poor, I may either:
• run a no-equipment indoor session, or
• cancel if it’s not safe to travel.
I absolutely do not want anyone feeling like they have to drive in wintry conditions, I know how much you love my sessions but the fun will wait for another week 😎
ℹ️ Wintry weather booking flexibility:
If you are booked on and can’t attend due to the weather, please just let me know. I am more than happy to move your session to the following week or another week that suits you, this applies specifically for weather-related disruption.
Thanks so much for everyone’s patience and understanding, winter always throws a few curveballs, but we will be back into a steady routine very soon 💜

🚨 JANUARY BOOTCAMPS – IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨
From January, I will be expanding my evening classes to make sure everyone trains at the right level for them.
Instead of one mixed session, Tuesdays will now run as two structured bootcamp classes, one progressive and one more supportive for those newer or returning to fitness.
📍 ST ANDREWS CHURCH HALL – TUESDAYS
🕕 6:10pm – 6:55pm
Progressive Bootcamp
Faster paced, less explanation, suitable if you are already active and/or familiar with circuits.
🕖 7:05pm – 7:50pm
Foundation / Return to Fitness
Perfect if you are new to circuit based workouts. These will be great for building confidence, and suitable for those easing back into exercise.
📍 ST MARY CHURCH CENTRE – THURSDAYS
🕕 6:05pm – 6:50pm
Mixed Ability / Progressive Bootcamp
A flowing, dynamic session for those with some exercise experience.
Expect fun, motivation and hard work in every class.

❌ No Sunday outdoor bootcamps in January.

✨ Client Transformation: Meryl ✨
Last week I posted some of Meryl's results. As she had a nurse appt today what better way to get her weight loss confirmed by a professional and what a result it is!
From Day 1 to Week 12, Meryl has shown what “small changes, big results” really means.
✅ Weight: 97 kg ➜ 86 kg (down 11 kg / ~24 lbs)
✅ BMI: 40.4 ➜ 35.8 (moving out of the highest-risk category)
✅ Waist: 114 cm ➜ 100 cm
✅ Hips: 125 cm ➜ 116 cm
✅ Waist-to-Hip Ratio: 0.91 ➜ 0.86 (a key marker for better heart-health)
✅ Blood Pressure: Now back in the healthy range, confirmed at her nurse appointment today.
What’s even better? Meryl didn’t give up her fly cups, lunches out, or the occasional treat. She embraced balance, more movement, a focus on nutrition and protein, and realistic, enjoyable exercise.

Meryl’s confidence is growing every day. She’s already signed on to continue her journey, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.

Transformation is not just about the numbers on the scale. We don’t even have “before” pictures, because back then Meryl simply wouldn’t take a photo of herself. But look at her now! Letting me capture these shots is a huge milestone in her confidence journey. I’ve already challenged her to take more little selfies and snapshots, because the world deserves to see how amazing she looks and feels today.
