Many thanks to the Monaghan family from 'the Cross' for sponsoring the match ball for tomorrows Junior Cup Round 1 fixture against Markethill Swifts Reserves, and for their continued support of our club.

The Cross is a traditional family run pub located in Drumskinny Kesh. This fine establishment has been serving the local community for over 125 years. It offers a warm welcome, good craic and a friendly atmosphere, the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and catch up with friends.

The Junior cup is back! This Saturday we begin this seasons campaign with a first round clash at Connolly Park against Markethill Swifts Reserves.

Please note the earlier kick off time of 1.30pm for the Junior Cup.

Alpha Bravo Fitness runs functional fitness classes Monday to Saturday with a strong team of coaches who teach, support and encourage everyone who attends. Classes are constantly varied and include a mixture of strength, cardio and both low and high skilled gymnastic work. If you want to get fitter, stronger, learn new skills, meet new people and have a bit of fun and plenty of banter in the process then ABF is a great place to be. New members are always welcome and their wee gym community are all very welcoming and friendly.

Lakeland Karting comprises a 550m outdoor go-kart track which is a great day out for family and friends groups, birthday
parties, hen & stag dos, team building sessions and youth groups.

A stunning result for the first team as they travelled to Strathroy Road and came away with an impressive 5-0 victory.

Jordan McClure was the star of the show with four goals, continuing his excellent start to the season.

The first half was a fairly subdued affair, with little in the way of goalmouth action. We struggled to get in behind the home defence, while Strathroy enjoyed some decent spells of possession themselves.

McClure's opener came somewhat out of the blue, with little quality on show beforehand. Seanie Mahon's excellent cross was met by Jordan with a superb volleyed finish into the bottom corner to give us a 1-0 lead at the break.

We doubled our advantage six minutes into the second half. Caolan Ward delivered another excellent free-kick from a similar position to Tuesday night's goal, and Jordan rose highest to head home his second.

The hat-trick arrived on 67 minutes after we were awarded a penalty for handball. The initial effort was saved, but Jordan reacted quickest to convert the rebound despite Sloans best efforts to keep it out.

Rocket was introduced with 10 minutes remaining and needed less than a minute to make his mark, calmly side-footing into the bottom corner to make it 4-0.

There was still time for McClure to complete his outstanding afternoon, with five minutes remaining he latched onto a lovely through ball from Jake Irvine before finishing to make it four for himself and 5-0 to Kesh.

A fantastic result and another strong all-round performance as we head into the two-week league break for Junior Cup action.

Our attention now turns to next Saturday, when we welcome Markethill Swifts Reserves to Connolly Park in the first round.

𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡

An easy choice with four goals to his name, Jordan McClure's clinical finishing ultimately proved the difference. However, this was another excellent team performance, with Aaron Ellis also catching the eye with some superb second-half runs.

Now we await the outcome of today's cricket to see if North Fermanagh Cricket Club can make it a truly memorable one! 🏏⚽

Another excellent evening for the Reserve team as they made it three wins from three to begin the season, putting themselves in a fantastic position at the top end of the table.

The game was almost over as a contest inside 25 minutes, with Josh Flack marking his return from injury with a devastating quickfire hat-trick in his first appearance of the season.

Penalty-box nuisance Grant Ellis then added two more, both coming from Arthur Kilfedder corners either side of half-time, as Kesh looked to be cruising.

Things became a little more interesting than they needed to be, however, as Killen pulled one back with a fantastic strike from inside their own half before adding another to make it 5-2.

The final 10 minutes saw the goals start flowing again.

Player-manager Heron was on hand to tap in at the back post before Stefan McCusker produced one of the more unusual goals you'll see this season, scoring directly from kick-off despite Jed Moores best efforts to steal it on the line 😀

Stefan then returned the favour shortly afterwards, finding Jed with another long kick out for the young centre-forward to finish. That takes Jed to seven goals for the season already.

We produced an excellent response to Saturday’s disappointing dropped points against Lisbellaw United, recording a valuable 1–0 victory away to an impressive Enniskillen Rangers side.

Rangers started brightly and controlled much of the opening half, particularly through the middle third where Jordan Breen , Adam Breen and Kyle Deery showed plenty of composure and quality in possession.

The home side created the first opportunity after six minutes when Jay Keenan met a corner at the back post with a well-struck volley, but Jamie Ray produced an excellent save. Rangers threatened again seven minutes later, Adam Breen heading over from a free kick.

We gradually began to find a foothold and came close ourselves in the 32nd minute when Caolan Ward's free kick found Rory Keane, whose header drifted over.

Rangers continued to pose the greater threat and came closest to breaking the deadlock five minutes before the interval. A loose ball from a corner found its way to Keenan, who was played into a promising position, only for Ray to produce another excellent save with his left foot.

We had a half chance before the break when Jordan McClure cut inside after the ball had been won back from a Rangers goal kick, but his effort failed to trouble the home goalkeeper.

The sides went into the interval level at 0–0, with Rangers having enjoyed the better of the possession but Kesh having defended resolutely.

The second half was a different story. We came out with considerably more intensity and began to impose ourselves in the middle of the pitch, with Ryan Beatty and Caolan Ward putting in a superb shift and providing the platform for us to push Rangers back.

That pressure was rewarded in the 55th minute.

Ward delivered a superb free kick into the Rangers penalty area, finding captain Nigel Beacom, who rose highest to guide a header into the bottom corner and give us the lead.

Rangers attempted to respond but struggled to create the same level of threat, with Kesh's defence standing firm. Mark Cutler dragged a shot wide in the 74th minute, but otherwise the visitors remained comfortable.

Indeed, it was the visitors who looked the more dangerous side during the closing stages. Aaron Ellis came close after controlling a long Jamie Ray kick brilliantly, only to lift his effort over the bar.

A minute later, excellent work from Sam Robb and a driving run from substitute Rocket created another opening, with Ellis seeing his effort deflected over.

Sam Robb then went close again in the 85th minute after being played through on goal, cutting back onto his right foot before his effort took a deflection and went over.

As darkness descended, Kesh had to remain disciplined at the back, with visibility becoming increasingly difficult. However, we defended excellently to see out the remaining minutes and secure three valuable points.

It was a hard-earned victory against an excellent Rangers side, but one which demonstrated the character and resilience within the squad.

Captain Beacom led by example at the back and proved decisive at the other end, while Ryan Beatty and Caolan Ward were instrumental in Kesh's improved second-half performance.

Nigel Beacom was named Man of the Match, sponsored by Atbec Renewables , after another outstanding performance at the heart of the Kesh defence capped by the winning goal. A captain's performance in every sense.
