After a long wait, the lads walked away with the 3 points in only the 2nd League game of the season. A strong first half seeing Fox-East grabbing himself 3 assists!πŸͺ„ A slow 2nd half saw a few goals conceded but the lads remained resilient with a stunning free kick from Ash and a fantastic finish from Will helped secure the points. Fox-East also grabs himself MOTM. Well done boys πŸ™ŒπŸ”΄βšͺ️

HULL CITY SUPPORTERS v SPRINGHEAD ist HALF 7th DECEMBER 2025 09/12/2025

Sunday 7th December we finally get a 2nd league game played of the sesaon since September 7th..
It's been hard to keep the Team and spirit together only 2 subs with having no Regular games it was a test of resilliance and character In the end when it cud of been alot more easier seeing the game out becos it just shows you when you think you've won a game before the final whistle when you're 5-0 up as the saying goes play to your strengths from the 1st minute until the last as this game showed with Springhead losing the plot in a 10 minutes spell could of been a disaster but when you switch back on and give your head a shake Quality always prevails..
Every game is a lesson never take for granted..βš½οΈπŸ”΄βšͺ️πŸ’ͺ🏻

With only our 3rd game of the season so far comes a second cup game and after a disappointing result in the secretary's cup 2 weeks ago conceeding a goal in the last 10 minutes it seemed like deja vu 2 teams going at each other again both having chances but going in 0-0 at half-time but this time in the Presidents cup against a physical West Hull Athletic.
2nd half was a totally different affair with 5 goals with West Hull taking the lead 10 minutes into the 2nd half then Springhead Sunday scoring a great header to be deemed offside 5 minutes later which on another day would of counted..
But thts wot spurs teams into action a test of grit and desire keeping heads up never saying never when feeling hard done by getting wot they deserve Springhead like a remake of the disallowed goal but this time it was Lewis lyon crossing the ball For Ashley Jessop yet again on the far post heading the ball home for the equaliser..
This now gave Springhead great belief applying some pressure gaining a corner with Ben Hoskins send a inviting ball into the 6 yard box for Joe moore assisting him to guide the ball into the West Hulls net..
This was short lived only 2 minutes later Westhull looking after the ball just outside Springhead 18 yard ending with a good strike aided by a slight deflection ended up equalising with 10 minutes left on the clock it was now survival of the fittest but Springhead still undeterred kept going forward and got there reward when Ben Hoskins stabbed the ball home from close range grabbing the winner which he got the opportunity from Sam fratson applying pressure and MOTM Steve Remy who changed things around coming on as a substitute just after halftime doing the simple things which went along way aiding the team to flow doing wot he does best applying the glue to the team Taking them to the Next round with a 3-2 victory..
