A mixed bag this weekend as the 1st XI were once again unable to defend a 200+ score before the Sunday XI recorded their highest ever chase thanks to another sensational century by the league-leading run scorer.

Congratulations to Kannan R who joined the small list of current Pelican CC players to score a century. Kannan scored 105* against Patrington a few weeks back, and is seen here given his commemorate scorecard by Sunday XI skipper Dowsy.

The 1st XI look to kick-start their season at home to while the Sunday XI will try and make it three from three as we play in our "home" fixture, with many thanks to our hosts for accommodating us once again.

1st XI continued their poor run of form while the Sunday XI picked up their first victory in several weeks with Jonathan Ellis and Kannan R both hitting centuries in a club-record partnership against a youthful Patrington side.
