Someone had zoomies yesterday 🤭💨

What should have been a relaxed, long and stretchy lunge session turned into Luna zooming around the arena as fast as she possibly could 🤭🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

No idea why but it didn’t last long… she tired herself out after 5mins 🤣

When your horse is needle shy and thinks every time you go near her with some scissors your going to jab her ☹️

Her mane was well over due.. so we took drastic action and called in the full team! 🤭🥰

One holding a lickit, one holding Luna, one scratching her scratchy bits and one cutting… oh and obviously one videoing because it’s absolutely hilarious! 🤭🤣

We did it though! ✂️💪🏼

It was definitely the singing that helped! 🤣

Happy 7th birthday Luna 🌙

It’s only been a few weeks but I’m already looking forward to our future together! 🥰✨

Little coffee stop this morning on our first long hack ☕️
Luna was absolutely foot perfect and I wouldn’t expect anything else! ✨
We got out nice and early before the heat kicked in hence the coffee instead of a wine 🤔😅

Next stop pub ride! 🥂☀️😬

Luna has had 3 weeks to settle into her new home with only light hacking and a little lunging.

We are not in a rush as she still has some growing to do BUT I do have some little outings I’d like to get us to this summer 🤫🤭

It’s been a little while and there is some news 🤭

Everyone, meet Luna 🌙
17hh, 6 years old, Irish Draught mare.

She’s an absolute sweetie 💕

She’s very green as she’s only a baby but that’s fine!
We are going to spend the year exploring the world and getting used to each other.
There’s no rush as she still has a bit of growing to do 👀🫣🤣

I wanted to introduce her to you all as we will be using the page to keep track of our progress.

No one could ever replace my Julie. I miss her terribly everyday. But Luna most definitely fills that horse shaped hole.
Although she has some rather big horse shoes to fill… 🤍

Thank you to my husband James who has made all this possible 🥰

Good ponies 💕

Little hack around the Chevin today seen as the sunshine was out!
Lots of hills and even a cheeky couple of canters 🤭👏🏼

Both horses set off with a lot of UMPH and were on their toes💨🫣
Soon settled after a little trot through the woods 🪾🌲
