🔴⚪️ KNUTSFORD 1st TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT 🔴⚪️

Knutsford FC are delighted to announce the First Team management structure for the upcoming season.

Manager – Liam Myers
Assistant Manager – Adam Cross
Coaches – Mark Evans, Scott Beattie & Dave Mullins
Matchday Administrator – Jamie Hart

Liam steps into the role following the departure of Jordan and Nick at the end of last season. We’d like to place on record our thanks to both for everything they achieved during their time in charge, including lifting the Cheshire Cup, reaching another Cheshire Cup Final, and leading the club on three strong promotion pushes.

Liam arrives with excellent experience, having been part of the coaching staff at Wythenshawe last season, but he is no stranger to Knutsford. During an outstanding eight-year spell at the club, Liam scored an incredible 153 goals in 200 appearances, winning four league titles and the Cheshire Cup, firmly establishing himself as a club legend.

Adam Cross remains as Assistant Manager after three successful seasons alongside Jordan and Wardy, helping guide the club to Cheshire Cup success in his first season. Away from the First Team, Adam is also the manager of Knutsford Milan Under-8s, continuing to play a key role in developing the next generation of footballers.

Joining the coaching staff are Scott Beattie and Mark Evans, two familiar faces with outstanding playing careers in Knutsford colours. Mark only hung up his boots last season after an incredible 17 years at the club, captaining the side and winning every major honour available at this level.

Dave Mullins continues in his role as Goalkeeping Coach, where he will once again work closely with Dominic Smith and the club’s goalkeepers. In addition, Dave has kindly taken on the role of Kit Manager, adding another important responsibility behind the scenes.

Jamie Hart has become a true stalwart of Knutsford FC. As well as joining the club’s Management Committee, Jamie will now take on the role of Matchday Administrator, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly on matchdays while continuing to enhance the overall matchday experience for players, officials and supporters alike.

After three amazing years at Knutsford FC, we can confirm that Jordan Gunter and Wardy will be leaving the club.

They leave with our thanks and appreciation for everything they have contributed during their time with us. Below is a message from the management team:

“Working together for the last three seasons has been a fantastic experience. It’s been a pleasure working with all the players, but equally with the coaching staff, where we built a special group together.

Reaching two finals and winning one was something we could only have dreamed of when we started, especially coming from a League One side. While our biggest disappointment is not achieving promotion, we are incredibly proud of what we achieved and the foundations that have been put in place.

We would like to thank everyone connected with the club for their support throughout our journey ESPECIALLY THE ULTRAS and hope the club can continue to progress and achieve the success it deserves.”

Everyone at Knutsford FC would like to thank Jordan and Wardy for their dedication, hard work and commitment over the past three seasons, and we wish them both every success in the future.❤️⚽️
