🩷 BELLES ENJOY DAY AT ROTHWELL SUMMER TOURNAMENT 🩷

were delighted to be invited to participate in the Summer Tournament ☀️⚽️

The tournament was superbly organised, in a brilliant location and provided a series of competitive fixtures in a friendly and enjoyable environment. recorded draws against Garforth Rangers, Fawn and Brindle teams and , before ending the tournament with a well-deserved 2-0 victory over the hosts, Rothwell Juniors

It was also fantastic to welcome and to the squad, with making her debut for , and and on loan from our team during the tournament 💛

Special congratulations go to , whose corner deflected off the keeper into the net, and , whose rocket strike from a short corner flew into the top corner 🚀⚽️

The tournament was a brilliant opportunity to give everyone valuable game time, strengthen team connections and enjoy a great day of football together.

🩷 FINAL GAME OF THE LEAGUE SEASON 🩷

Edenthorpe 4 – 0 Halifax Friendly Belles

A tough one to end the league season, with a combination of very intense heat, a strong Edenthorpe side and the effects of a long 26-game campaign all taking their toll. The match also marked final game for the Belles.

The Belles gave everything and should have had the perfect start with what looked a stonewall penalty, only for appeals to be waved away 👀

That decision sparked the hosts into life, with Edenthorpe scoring twice in six minutes to take control of the game.

The Belles continued to battle and looked to create opportunities of their own, with coming close with a snap-shot effort and driving forward powerfully as ever in search of something special.

Halifax pushed again in the second half, with .waterworth.10 making a strong driving run before forcing a corner with a powerful strike. However, the conditions proved difficult and Edenthorpe added two more goals to secure a 4–0 victory.

There was still time for a memorable moment as goalkeeper .fletcher.39 came outfield, while stepped into goal. One of the highlights of the afternoon saw charging out to clear the ball in her pink sunglasses 😎

In the closing moments, the Belles substituted to a deserved round of applause as she played her final game for the club. Having been a huge part of the Club through its early years with the Ladies, leaves as a true Belles legend and someone who will be greatly missed both on and off the pitch 💛

A trusty left back who gives 100% every game. She’s fast, strong, committed and always willing to put the work in 💪

Off the pitch, .d has fully embraced life as a Belle too - from socials and Monday Night Club to travelling with the team to watch the Lionesses in Manchester and even heading over to Barcelona for more women’s football 🇪🇸🔥

She’s brought brilliant energy to the squad this season and truly embodies what being a Belle is all about 💛
