A well-balanced game last night 🤝

Friar Lane enjoyed a lot of possession in the first half, with both teams creating a few opportunities to take the lead but neither side able to find the breakthrough.

Second half, Charlie was shown his second yellow, leaving Friar Lane down to 10 men. We dug in and continued to work hard.

A great ball over the top from Kaden Stokes found Mady Shields, who was brought down inside the box. 78th minute — Kaden Stokes stepped up and calmly converted the penalty. ⚽️🟠

The final 10 minutes saw Lutterworth pump balls into the box, eventually finding an equaliser as their striker got through and slotted home.

We did well to hold on for the draw, and ultimately 1-1 was probably a fair result. 🤝

We go again Saturday. Cottesmore at home. 🏠🟠
