A loosely used analogy to explain how to get results

This is how my mind is working right now

Let me know what you think or your best analogy for training

Week 2 boxed

I left training later in the week due to being busy, wasn’t my finest of weeks

But a weekend of family fun was a nice little reset

Being a bigger human and defaulting to running to lose fat is going to be miserable

Your joints are going to take some beating you will be sore and achey from it

If you don’t enjoy it, lift weights, eat better and get your steps in

Salute to all the bigger runners trying to chase the little guys down 🫡

I just about survived the first year it’s been wild

But I wouldn’t change it

It has changed my outlook on training

It has changed how my routine works

It has changed when I train

What’s your big lessons if you have been there?

A reflective one from me

There is always loads of reasons not to do things

Or stop and take it easy

But most of the time if it’s hard that’s probably what you need

Sometimes life lifes but lifting is going to make it better

Literally the other day was feeling flat and uncertain, went out for a run and felt loads better

As your life changes and grows

You can’t keep doing the same training you have always done

In my 20s I could lift 5 days a week, shift big weights, late nights early mornings and it would be fine.

These days I have to be smarter with it

Which can be difficult to adjust if you don’t know what you are doing

If you need help message me đź’Ş
