Topaz Dancentre ensures all of our staff are First Aid certified. Our next renewal course is on 2nd November, and we do have some additional spaces available for any who want to come along (and it is at a substantial discount compared to booking a solo place on a course at a training centre!)

To book directly with Safe Haven (who are running this course) costs £132 per candidate; we are offering you a place on our course for just £80! The certification is valid for 3 years and covers all areas of First Aid, including training in CPR and using an AED (a machine which uses electric shock to try to restart the heart in the case of cardiac arrest).

We would love to welcome you onto our team course on 2nd November. Numbers are limited so please get in touch ASAP if you want to book a spot!!

Last Saturday Rose celebrated her 3rd Birthday, and started at our brand new tinies ballet class…This is a special one to Miss Ann, as her mum was one of the very first tinies she taught at Topaz back in 1995. She went on to become a class assistant, achieve Intermediate Ballet level, perform in all our shows and only stopped dancing when her first child was born.. (She will be back 😂).. her mum was also a Topaz Dancer for many years and has become a very good friend ….Our Topaz Family is a Big Happy Lovely one ❤️❤️❤️

So sorry to hear this

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Yvonne Goût, former President, Chairperson and Director of the IDTA.

Yvonne made an immense contribution to the Association over many years through her dedication, commitment and passion for dance education. As a longstanding member and Chairperson of the Ballet Faculty, she played a pivotal role in shaping and developing the IDTA Ballet syllabus as it is known today, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to influence generations of teachers and dancers.

Yvonne's leadership, wisdom and unwavering support of the dance profession earned her the affection, gratitude and respect of colleagues, members and the wider dance community.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched through dance.
