Members Shout Out
Well done to our members (and coaches) who took on the Deadly Dozen fitness competition at the weekend. It was a great day with tremendous team spirit.
It was wonderful to have an event so local at Wavertree Athletics Track (literally 5 mins from Livfit) and a great team of supporters were present to cheer the gang on!
Fantastic event and we look forward to having an even bigger Livfit presence next year 👀

A lot of people delay starting because they’re waiting for the right moment.

But that moment doesn’t usually arrive on its own.

Confidence is built through action — not waiting.

And the sooner you begin, the sooner things start to feel easier.

The Day Everyday Tasks Start Feeling Harder Is The Day Strength Training Becomes Essential
At some point, life changes.
Carrying the shopping feels harder.
Getting up off the floor takes more effort.
The stairs leave you breathing heavier than they used to.
Playing with the grandchildren becomes exhausting instead of enjoyable.
The scary part?
Most people think this is just “getting older.”
It’s not.
More often than not, it’s a loss of strength.
For over 20 years, I’ve helped people who were nervous about gyms, intimidated by weights, and convinced they were “too old” to start.
What they’ve discovered is that strength training isn’t about building huge muscles.
It’s about building a body that allows you to live life on your terms.
It’s about carrying your own shopping.
Getting out of a chair without using your hands.
Walking upstairs without your knees aching.
Feeling capable, confident and independent
The hardest part is answering the call but when u do you soon realize you don’t have to live in Pain

It’s easy to think consistency comes from discipline alone.

But real life doesn’t work like that — especially when you’re balancing work, family and everything else.

The people who stay consistent aren’t the ones with the most willpower.

BIG SHOUTS 📣 to celebrate our members this weekend who are conquering challenges outside of their time at Livfit.
Firstly to who has completed her first 10km Run! 🏃♀️
We’ve seen her really put in the work in and outside of the gym, whilst making changes to her lifestyle to support her performance. Well done Carrie what an inspiration ⭐️
Also we want to recognise the FAB FOUR

If you cut these guys in half you see Livfit written through them. They love a challenge and have been going strength to strength this past few months and it hasn’t gone unnoticed!
If you want to know the secret to staying consistent with training, it’s making friends who also like to be active and take on crazy challenges! Once you’ve found your tribe there’s no stopping you!
Take inspiration and set yourself a challenge, you’ll be surprised at what you’re able to accomplish in the right environment and with the right people around you 👏👏
