A note from our founder on why the sauna is exactly where you should be right now.

Counterintuitive? Maybe. Wrong? Absolutely not.

Regular sauna use raises your heat tolerance by training your body to regulate temperature more efficiently. Your plasma volume increases, your sweat response gets faster, and your cardiovascular system adapts to handle thermal stress with a lot less drama. Basically, you become harder to overheat.

Cold plunge does the opposite in the best way - it sharpens your vascular response, so your body gets better at both heating and cooling itself on demand. Together, they’re one of the most effective tools for adapting to extreme temperatures.

So while everyone else is melting on the Central line, you’ve been in a 90-degree room doing the work.

There is one small caveat though.

In a heat wave, you might find yourself spending a little longer in the cold plunge than the sauna.

…it’s pretty fu***ng cold, isn’t it.
