📢 A quick update for tomorrow’s swimming sessions 📢

This weekend marks the start of our new split-day format at Brockwell Lido, this will be a change for the weekend schedule before being implemented into the weekdays sessions on the 15th June🌊

When booking, you’ll now see sessions labelled “Lido Swim” in the app. These sessions include a mix of lane swimming and general swimming, giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy the pool.

⏰ Session 1
🏊 07:30–12:30

At the end of Session 1, all visitors will be required to leave poolside while we prepare for the afternoon session.

⏰ Session 2
🏊 13:00–17:00

Please note that due to a privately booked event taking place tomorrow evening, the pool will close at 17:00 rather than the usual 18:00. This is a one-off adjustment to our normal weekend timetable.

Thank you for your patience as we introduce our summer operating schedule. These sessions help us manage capacity, maintain water quality and ensure the best possible experience for all swimmers throughout the busiest months of the year.

The forecast is looking a little brighter today, with highs of around 18°C and hopefully fewer showers than we’ve seen recently 🌤️

The pool temperature is still holding at a comfortable 20°C, so it’s feeling warmer in the water than out of it for many swimmers 🌊

The forecast may be looking a little dramatic again, with thunderstorms possible and more rain expected throughout the week, but the good news is that the pool is still holding a lovely 22°C 🌊

As always, we’ll keep an eye on conditions throughout the day. A quick reminder that as an outdoor pool, we may need to temporarily clear the water and close the pool if thunderstorms or lightning move into the area.

Rainy swims, however? Business as usual ☔🏊‍♀️

📢 A reminder for this Saturday

We’re excited to be partnering with for a special event at Brockwell Lido 💕

To allow time for event setup, the pool will close at 17:00 on Saturday as a one-off adjustment to our normal operating hours.

The sunshine may be taking a little break this week, but the swimming continues! Open 06:30-20:00pm today!

While the forecast is looking a little wetter over the coming days, our pool temperature is expected to remain comfortably above 20°C, making it a great time for a swim without the summer crowds 🌊

👨‍👩‍👧 Family swim sessions will continue as normal, and we look forward to welcoming families throughout the week.

A small heads up for parents: although the water is staying warm, the cooler air temperatures and occasional rain may mean younger swimmers feel the chill a little sooner than they would on a hot summer’s day, so extra towels, warm clothes and a post-swim hot chocolate might be a good idea ☕

From June, our summer programme begins and we’ll be introducing extended opening hours, additional family swimming and revised session times throughout the week.

🏊 Weekend Sessions
To help us manage capacity and maintain a great experience for everyone, weekends will operate as two separate sessions:

💦 07:30–12:30
💦 13:00–18:00

Please note that between sessions the pool will close and all visitors will be required to leave poolside.

🤽 Tuesday Evenings
The pool will close at 20:00 on Tuesdays to accommodate water polo sessions.

🌞 From 15th June
Our full summer programming arrives on weekdays too.

As with weekends, there will be a closure period between the daytime sessions and all visitors will be required to leave poolside during this time.

These changes allow us to offer more swimming opportunities while ensuring the pool remains safe, clean and enjoyable throughout the busiest months of the year.

The bigger lido sessions are available to book 21 days in advance under ‘Book a lido swim’

🚗 Please note: the car park is closed again today due to the Mighty Hoopla Festival taking place in Brockwell Park. If you’re visiting us, please plan your journey accordingly and allow a little extra time to arrive.
