This is an evening party for members, family and friends to say their fair-wells to our Marias.

Friday 23rd February
QUIZ NIGHT. The first quiz for 2024 hosted by our fabulous resident Quizmaster.

Saturday 9th March
RACE NIGHT
We have 8 old films of past horse races which are picked randomly to watch once everyone has had a bet with Mark Worton, the bookmaker.
🐎 8 horses in each race
🐎 We need 8 Race sponsors (cost £20)
An example, Mark’s race that he will sponsor will be called
' Mark Worton coaching and racket stringing nursery stakes
His 4 horses in different races will have names like' Betty Swollocks 'or Kim The Brusher' or anything funny and the cost of these horses is £5.
If your horse wins the selected race you receive £25 for being the horse winner.

New venture to enable us to open the bar. Our Top Chef Enrique will be preparing and cooking pizzas on the premises tomorrow and aided by our top team of volunteers. Details below 🍕🥂

Dear Members and friends

Introducing Pymmes Village Pizza @ WFTC!

We are delighted to finally be able to return to tennis and want to continue with social events too. This Friday, 4th December we will be launching “Pymmes Village Pizza @ WFTC”.
The first week will be our soft launch, if well supported we hope to make it a monthly Pop-Up Pizza event at Waterfall Tennis Club and possibly weekly through out December.
We will be serving 12” Pizza’s cooked in a professional pizza oven for £10 with a drink cooked by our ace chef Enrique!

That is a Pizza meal deal with your choice of Prosecco, Wine or Beer for £10!

We will be operating strict Tier 2 rules.

Here is a summary of how it will work:
* A restaurant style service will be held in the club house
* Alcohol can only be served with a Pizza, which constitutes a substantial meal.
* Only tables of up to 6 members from the same household will be permitted to sit and eat together indoors.
* Patrons must book tables so we can manage seating arrangements, timing and capacity given government guidelines for eating & social distancing.
* For this first run we are not going to limit people to slots until we know how full we will be and what time people wish to book. That is why it is important to book in advance for us to assign seats safely and within our capacity to serve.
* An app will be introduced and rolled out specifically for bookings in time for the next event if our first Pizza Pop-up is received well.
* People will be able to mix outside with up to 5 other people in groups no more than 6 from different households.
* We plan to set up a couple of fire pits for those that may wish to finish their meal (and drinks) outside in a mixed setting group of 6 if they wish to stay longer and be outdoors.
* We will be open from 5:30pm
* Last orders for food will be 9pm and for drinks 10pm
* Drinks will be table service both inside and outside.
* Pizza without an alcoholic drink will be £7.50
* People must leave once finished their substantial meal and the government has specified that a “two-hour turnaround” is the “maximum amount of time” needed for “a meal of multiple courses”.

Please note all profits will be going towards resurfacing the courts which has been booked for February 2021. We currently have a gap, which the profits along with other planned activities will close. We will be sending an email giving more information about the court improvements shortly.

Thank you once again for your continued support and more than anything, we are so happy to be back to tennis and have a chance to improve our facilities for all to enjoy for years to come.
