We would normally be deep into off season by now but for us there are still a couple of races on the horizon!
So training continues for now but it’s been nice to still fit in some off-season style activities along the way. Check out our new video to see what we’ve been up to so far & the plans ahead!

Its “off” season, which basically means pretending to the world you’re resting while secretly training, telling your friends how unfit you’re while casually running a Parkrun PB and then eating whatever you like because “I’m at my winter weight”.
Jokes aside, I’ve had a long rest mid season while went about her business in Utah. I’m training hard for Clash Daytona in December and have set myself some ‘fun/ambitious’ goals along the way. 3:59 for 400m freestyle and 15:20 5k, will I hit them? Not sure, who cares (apart from Joe Skipper), it’s all part of the build towards the last race of the season. THEN it’s off season with a family holiday booked in Cornwall and Christmas celebrations 📸

Lots of variety in our training recently, keeping the wheels turning with a big emphasis on ‘fit for fun’.
Last weekend consisted of county swimming championships including 400 free and my 1st attempt ever at 200 fly with followed by an ultra endurance long training run with in our local Epping Forest. Both events at completely different ends of the anaerobic/aerobic spectrum and both equally fun and challenging. 400 free time 4:15 & 200 fly 2:25 for those interested. 📸 &

And STILL the best atmosphere in any event I’ve done, ever…. Well done London, you was great.
Did my absolute best to “keep it a training run” but still carried away by the occasion, especially in the 1st few miles. Cannot wait to come back here in 2023 and give it my all. Untill then 🍻

Straight back from Malibu and into the The London marathon buzz. Can’t believe it’s 2.5 years since the last London Marathon.
99% of all the runs I’ve done have been shared with these three amazing people. From baking hot runs in Lanzarote to freezing cold cross country races, to multiple laps of a 800m industrial estate trying to find GPS and being harassed by a dog. So many stories, excited to share the road with them this Sunday.
