Aikido doesn’t suck… Here you can see Danaher and the Hogg brothers demonstrating almost identical movements. Ultimately, Judo, Aikido and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are all more alike than they are different. This is most likely owed to them sharing a common ancestor in Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Tomiki Aikido is unique in that it incorporates sparring and competition into its methodology. This has allowed Tomiki players to develop fighting abilities that are in the same realm as what Judoka and BJJ players can do. #martialarts #aikido #judo #bjj #johndanaher
