Your strength doesn't live in the hustle, it lives in your stillness.

When your internal fire turns into excess heat, it clouds your vision and drains your power.

When you are constantly holding space for your vision, your purpose, your family or your community, your nervous system can become over-stimulated.

This practice is your sacred boundary and a deliberate choice to cool the system so you can continue to lead, love, and speak your absolute truth.

This isn’t about passive stretching or basic relaxation.

This is deliberate, grounded postures designed to shift your energy from fiery ex*****on to cool, calm authority.

We are intentionally soothing the nervous system to sharpen your intuition.

I know that maintaining a high frequency energy requires discipline which is what I practice everyday.

This has helped me to overcome challenges and live a life with strength, contentment and peace.

I invite you to move through this practice so you can feel held as you maintain your daily discipline too.

Find Your Centre: How to Practice Sama Vritti Pranayama (Box Breath) | 10 Minutes | Yoga with Jaina 31/05/2026

You’ve lost your ground and you know you need to quickly come back home to yourself.

However you don’t have a spare half an hour to calm your energy.
Therefore you need a quick yogic technique that will slow things down so you can feel your inner peace.

In this video, we are stepping into deep yoga embodiment by exploring Sama Vritti Pranayama, also known as the square breath or box breathing.

Together, we will honour the four distinct parts of the breath:

Puraka (The Inhale): Filling your container with new life and fresh energy.

Antar Kumbhaka (Internal Retention): The sacred space after the inhale where you sit quietly in your fullness.

Rechaka (The Exhale): Releasing, emptying, and letting go of what no longer serves your soul.

Bahya Kumbhaka (External Retention): The sacred space after the exhale where you find deep stillness and peace in the empty spaces.

By balancing out these four parts and honoring the Kumbhaka (the pauses), we send a direct signal to the nervous system that you are safe, grounded, and deeply supported.

It is a non-negotiable ritual for soul growth, helping you process heavy emotions and reclaim your inner power.

By practicing this technique once with me you will then easily be able to implement it into your life when things get a bit tough and you lose your peace.

Your intuition is your greatest source of inner strength. When life brings suffering, expectation, societal pressure and more we often lose our sense of identity and stop trusting our inner voice.

This yoga practice is designed to awaken your Ajna chakra (the third eye) which is the centre of intuition, clarity, and connection to your higher self.

When this energy centre is blocked, we feel disconnected, indecisive, and lost in mental fog.

Opening your third eye allows you to look past physical illusions, access deep cosmic wisdom, and trust your inner voice completely.

In Part 1 of my Cycle Syncing series, we are honouring the "Inner Winter."

This practice isn't about pushing or sweating; it’s about softening.

Include wide-stance yoga asanas into your practice to keep cool and sleep well! 😴

Wide poses will:

✅️ Release trapped heat: Opening the armpits, inner thighs, and groin allows excess body heat to escape.

✅️ Ground your energy: Forward folds and wide stances encourage a downward flow of energy, settling the mind and releasing excess pitta (fire/heat).

✅️ Improve sleep: Lowering your core body temperature signals to your brain that it is time to rest.
