Yesterday's competition in Manchester was another valuable step in our journey.

🥉 Elena L – Female Cadet Kata
🥉 David M – Male 9yrs & Under Kumite

Well done also to all our athletes who stepped onto the tatami and gave their best. Success is not only measured by medals but by the courage to compete, learn, and improve.

We were also very close to more podium finishes, with 5 athletes narrowly missing out in bronze medal matches. The potential is there. Now it's about building more confidence, determination, focus, and belief in ourselves.

Every competition teaches us something. We learn, we grow, and we come back stronger.

Unfortunately, Elena had already left before the group photo was taken, so she is missing from the picture. Congratulations once again on her bronze medal performance.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the clubs who have registered and completed their Phase 1 entries. Your support is truly appreciated and helps us continue building a great event for everyone.

At the moment, we have 315 entries from 22 clubs, which is fantastic to see.

If any clubs would still like to add more competitors, entries will remain open at the Phase 2 entry fee for one more week. After that, from 30th May to 7th June, the Phase 3 entry fee will apply.

Please note that if we reach our competition capacity limits, entries may close earlier than the final deadline, so we kindly encourage clubs to complete any additional registrations as soon as possible.

As mentioned previously, this year we will be running the competition on 5 areas only, allowing more space and a better experience for competitors, coaches, and spectators.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all on Sunday 21st June and sharing another great day of karate together.
