πΊπΈπ FROM LURGAN TOWN TO NORTH CAROLINA!
A very proud moment for everyone at Lurgan Town FC as our former player Adam McCann-Gibbs is set to make his debut for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic at Dublinβs Aviva Stadium.
Adam swapped the round ball for the oval one as his sporting journey took him from football into American Football, eventually earning him the opportunity to head Stateside and join one of the biggest college programmes in the USA.
Tomorrow, he gets to pull on the famous Carolina Blue and make his debut back on home soil β under legendary coach Bill Belichick. π
Itβs fantastic to see a former Town player performing on such a huge stage and we know plenty around the club will be keeping a close eye on the action.
From everyone at Lurgan Town FC, congratulations Adam and the very best of luck! ππ€
Once a Town player, always a Town player. π
