A huge congratulations to Katie, Zac and Matt who took on Ironman Leeds this weekend!

A special shoutout to Katie, who finished an incredible 3rd in her age group! What an achievement! πŸ‘πŸ”₯

Back at home, Saturday saw two club rides heading out πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ

🚴 Social Ride β€” led by Mairi
🚴 Intermediate Ride β€” led by Sam

And to round off the weekend, we had our Sunday coached swim session at Kings πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

Another brilliant weekend of racing, training and getting out together as a club. πŸ’™

Another fantastic weekend for our members! πŸ‘

A huge congratulations to Matt, who took on the Salford Triathlon. Great effort and another race completed in club colours – well done! πŸ’ͺπŸš΄πŸŠπŸƒ

Away from racing, we had another brilliant weekend of training:
🚴 Fiona led one of our club rides, taking on some of the local hills.
🚴 Mairi led another club ride, giving members another great opportunity to get the miles in together.

🏊 We also rounded off the weekend with our regular Sunday swim at Kings Sports Centre, with another great turnout and plenty of quality training in the pool.

Whether you raced, rode, swam or supported others, well done everyone. Keep up the fantastic work! πŸŸ πŸ”΅

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Saturday saw two group rides take place, with Fiona leading a group ride through the hills, while Mark led a social group ride. Great to see plenty of members getting out on the bikes and enjoying the weekend together! πŸš²πŸ™Œ

πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ Sunday saw our coached swim sessions at Kings Sports Centre, with another great session in the pool.

Please note that Sunday swim times will change from Sunday 26th July until Sunday August 30th inclusive.

The afternoon sessions will move to the Sunday morning at either 0900 or 1000. Details are in the event details in Spond.

Please note the Wednesday sessions remain unchanged at 20:15

A huge congratulations to our members who were out flying the club colours this weekend! πŸ‘

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ Dee represented her country at the Sprint Duathlon European Championships in Banyoles, Spain. Competing on the international stage is an incredible achievement, and we’re all proud of your performance!

πŸŒŠπŸš΄πŸƒ Kev and Heike took on the Boundary Breeze Sprint Triathlon, putting in brilliant performances and showing the hard work they’ve put into training.

Congratulations to all three of you – we’re proud to have you representing the club at events both at home and abroad. Enjoy those well-earned medals! πŸ₯‡πŸŽ‰

Another great weekend for the club with plenty of miles, smiles and achievements!

πŸ‘ Huge congratulations to Gary, who took on the Odyssey Box End Triathlon – a fantastic effort and another finish to be proud of!

🚴 Our hilly group ride, expertly led by Sam, saw a great turnout as everyone tackled the climbs together and enjoyed some brilliant riding.

🏊 We also wrapped up the weekend with our Sunday coached swim session at Kings Sports Centre, where everyone put in some quality work in the pool.

A huge congratulations to Michael, who took on the Epicman Standard Distance Triathlon in the stunning surroundings of Ullswater. A tough course in a beautiful part of the countryβ€”well done on a fantastic achievement! πŸ‘πŸš΄πŸŠπŸƒ

Back home, our members were out enjoying a club ride on Saturday, putting in the miles together and making the most of the weekend.

Another brilliant weekend of racing for Macclesfield & District Triathlon Club (MAD Tri) members, with athletes in action across Cheshire and the Lake District.

πŸ”Ή Cholmondeley Castle Sprint Duathlon – Mark represented the club on Saturday with a strong performance around the stunning castle grounds.

πŸ”Ή The Lakesman – A fantastic day of racing saw:
πŸ† Fiona finish 3rd overall female.
πŸ† Katie claim 5th overall female.
πŸ₯‡ Kevin storm to victory in his age group, winning by an incredible 10 minutes!
πŸ‘ Pippa and Matt both put in great performances.
πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸŠ Arran and Ollie teamed up for the relay aquabike, flying the MAD Tri colours together.

🏊 Back home in Macclesfield, members were back in the pool yesterday for our regular Sunday swim session, continuing the hard work and enjoying some quality training together.

Congratulations to everyone who raced, trained and supported over the weekend. Whether you were on the podium, chasing a PB or simply enjoying the challenge, you did the club proud! πŸ’™πŸ’›

Another fantastic weekend for members of MAD Tri

On Saturday, James took on the Shropshire Standard Triathlon, while on Sunday Chris raced the UK Triathlon 150 at Shropshire.

Meanwhile, Fiona, Kate, Ellie and Ben headed to Wales for the Slateman Triathlon, with a special congratulations to Kate for winning her age group! πŸ₯‡

Further afield, Sam took on Ironman Tours MΓ©tropole, delivering a superb performance over the long-distance course. πŸ’ͺ

Back home in Macclesfield, we had two club rides on Saturday, with everyone who joined putting in a great effort and enjoying the sunshine and miles together. We also held our club swim session on Sunday at Kings Sports Centre, with members continuing their training and supporting each other in the pool.

A huge well done to all our members who raced, trained, rode, swam, volunteered and supported throughout the weekend. Whether you were competing, training or cheering others on, you helped make it another great weekend for MAD Tri.
