Well done to all 419 runners/joggers/walkers at Maidenhead parkrun this morning. Thanks, as ever, to our amazing volunteers too as without them we simply couldn’t put on this event.
This morning we welcomed visitors from Aylesbury, The Wirral, Saratoga Springs, NY and Sydney.
Congratulations to Elza and Eve who completed their final session for their Silver DofE. Congratulations also to:
Penny Weddepohl on her 25th run
Carla Rodrigues on her 100th run
Dorothy Padfield on her 200th run
Andrew Millhouse on his 400th run
And 2 weeks late, but congratulations to Rich Pink on his 400th run a couple of weeks ago!
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THERE WON’T BE A PARKRUN NEXT WEEK and we’ll be back on the 4 July with Brooks trainers and special guest, Joe Wicks. 😊

Joe Wicks will be coming along to join us at Maidenhead parkrun on Saturday 4th July.
Brooks will also be there giving you an opportunity to try out some of their fantastic running shoes. If you want to find out how a pair of Glycerin shoes would feel then don't waste any time and register now with Brooks to guarantee a pair.

We're delighted to let you know that on Saturday 4th July we're going to host another Brooks event where you will be able to try out a pair of their excellent running shoes.
We're also thrilled that Joe Wicks will be coming along too. You will remember what a fabulous event it was back in November 2022 when we hosted Walk with Joe for Children in Need.
If you'd like to borrow a pair of Brooks to try out then you will need to register with them.

Liz has done a sterling job of washing and drying all the volunteer hi vis. Now we just need a few people to put their hands up to wear some lovely clean kit and make it possible for parkrun to take place on Saturday.
We're looking for people to fill lots of different roles but mainly marshals.
Please take a look at the volunteer roster here https://www.parkrun.org.uk/maidenhead/futureroster/ and email us at [email protected] to let us know if you can help.
We'd love to have you on the team!
All roles are straightforward and will be fully explained.

Don't forget we are cancelled on 27 June because of a junior football tournament taking place in Braywick Park.
Why not take the opportunity to visit one of our close neighbours - Higginson, Marlow, Upton Court, Black Park or Wycombe Rye - or a bit further to the very new and excellent Green Park in Reading.

A big well done to the 521 of you that attended Maidenhead Parkrun at sunny Braywick park this morning.
Results have been processed and will be shortly live on the website. There were a few issues with the results, if you are unhappy with your time please email in. However if you did it in around 36 mins and would have loved it to have been a 25 min, I am not sure we can assist there 😎.
Anyway a special shout out to all of you that ran milestone runs and to Rachel and her gang from Gunnersbury who joined us as part of her Hen weekend.
Please note we are cancelled on the 27 June due to a football tournament being held at the park.
Also please remember Dogs only on a short handheld lead please, we had a couple of near misses today that could have resulted in falls and injuries.
Finally a big thank you to all our amazing volunteers, without you we could not put this event on. It’s RD Liz next week please email in if you are able to help out.

Well done to all of our 354 finishers and many thanks to our 38 volunteers, including our pacing team, on a wet and windy morning at Braywick.
Results have been processed and are on the website. Have a great week and see you next Saturday.
