New glasses without hours feeling awkward in the opticians? YES PLEASE!

have made ordering glasses online super simple... even with a prescription like mine!!

I'm-4.50... so thick! You can even upload a selfie to virtually try them on.

I got a high index which basically means I've asked for them to be thinner 👌🏼

Was nervous for them to arrive wondering if they'd be comfy or fit or truly suit me and.. well, I'll let you be the judge!

They got me a compliment from my husband which, if you know him, you'll know is rare.

Yeah, I'm one happy lady right now.

I said to my husband, I'd rather spend & save that bit more to make sure we have a decent holiday.

Otherwise, it hardly seems worth it.

So we spent a bit more & had a holiday from hell instead.

First world problems I know. We're lucky to be able to get away and I recognise that.

But I wish we hadn't!

Although not having to do our dishes was dreamy for sure!!

We've always gone to Turkey but I couldnt bare the thought of a longer flight with 3 little ones, so we holidayd a bit closer in Menorca for a change.

Don't think we will be going back for a family holiday any time soon, despite it being a beautiful country.

Where do you recommend? Did you get a summer holiday this year?
