Catfield Higashi opening day this Saturday 10th January 2026

This is for anyone who wishes to support me on my first day. It's free! Well, sort of free, I'm not paying for your petrol or your lunch.

The hall, (see link below), is booked for 4 hours from 09:00 to 13:00.

The first hour is earmarked for juniors. I don't really expect many initially, so if anyone wants to start at 09:00 and there's space, that's cool.

There's some parking at the village hall.
Unfortunately for some, our village pub, The Crown Inn, is closed from the 2nd to the 15th.

Fortunately for us, they have said we can use their car park on Saturday. It's not big, but there are 3 or 4 spaces at the back of the pub and room for maybe half a dozen at the front.

After training, I'll be firing up the barbecue, so can people bring whatever food and drink you'd like to consume. Not being tight, I just have no idea how many people will be here.

You'll need warm clothes, maybe blankets, etc.

Unfortunately we're not equipped to put anyone up at the moment, but we do have a shower for anyone that wants it after training, also a bit of car sharing might be useful for those who don't like driving 90 miles in the dark.
