Congratulations to Karen and Jack who both graded to Red Belt - 9th Kyu tonight.
As well as kihon waza (fundamental techniques), they demonstrated renraku waza (combination techniques), and to the pads to test impact, also gripping skills and a knowledge test. Very well done, and great support from everybody tonight.

Congratulations to Matthew on attaining his 1st Kyu - Brown Belt
For this grade Matthew had to demonstrate fundamental techniques (Kihon), Kata, Bunkai, Padwork, locks, chokes and strangles, throws, sparring, multiple enemies, groundwork, knowledge test, and coaching skills, and self protection skills; all with confidence and competence.
