Collyhurst and Moston ABC

Most of you may already be aware, but one of our number 1 supporters Sonia, has unfortunately been diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma cancer.

You will know Sonia as being a massive part of our club for 15 years, along with her cousin Lisa she does the doors on all our club shows, and by doing the rounds with raffle tickets and donations buckets has helped raise thousands over the years for our club, and many other charities also other local people who have suffered in similar ways.

Sonia has bravely started her chemotherapy journey and will hopefully come out the other end. However, she has a long road ahead and as you are aware, chemotherapy not only has amazing curable abilities but also the bad side effects which are going to affect her every day life.

Collyhurst and Moston ABC will be joining together tomorrow to do a sponsored run to raise some funds to help alleviate some of the costs that will be incurred on Sonia’s journey. We are hoping to pay for a comfortable wig to help cheer Sonia up after losing her hair.

We will also be doing some fundraising on our home show tonight at the Irish centre, so please help us out by making this an easier time for our much loved Sonia.

The run will be taking place in boggart hole cloudy at 10am

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Culinary certification or relevant education is a plus but not required
