DIET MYTHS BUSTED WEEK STARTS TOMORROW 🤓🧡

The woman on the left genuinely believed bread was the problem.

I was scared of carbs.

Scared of eating too much.

Scared of getting it wrong.

Convinced there was some magic food I needed to avoid.

The irony?

Being scared of food kept me far away from looking and feeling the way I wanted to.

The woman on the right didn’t get there by avoiding bread.

She didn’t get there by cutting carbs.

She didn’t get there by never eating after 6pm.

She got there by understanding what actually matters.

So this week I’m tackling some of the biggest diet myths women still believe:

❌ Bread makes you fat

❌ Carbs make you fat

❌ Eating after 6pm makes you fat

❌ Sugar makes you fat

❌ One takeaway ruins your progress

❌ You have to be perfect

Midlife women 🙋‍♀️

STOP taking it lying down 🤦‍♀️

You are not “too old.”

I’m midlife 47.8 to be exact 😬

I transformed my body in my 40s with:

Ok ladies

Who doesn’t love a fat sausage? 😃

I’m not normally a big fan of chicken sausages 👎

Too skinny for me.

I prefer one with a bit more girth 😏

But these little beauties from are right up my street.

Maybe not the cleanest protein source we could choose, but easy life wins for me every time 👌

This has been my breakfast this week, coming in at 410 calories and 34g protein and keeps me full and satisfied for hours. That’s the win 🏆 getting to that next meal without turning into a human hoover 😳

And before the diet police arrive…

Yes, you can lose weight eating bread.
Yes, you can eat sausages.
Yes, real food still works.

So many women still think foods like cheese, avocado, bread, or donuts 🍩 😋 are “fattening.” 😢

I used to think exactly the same.

For years I avoided certain foods because I believed they were the reason I couldn’t lose weight.

The truth?

No single food makes you gain weight.

Just like no single food makes you lose it.

Weight gain happens when we consistently eat more calories than our body needs over time. Weight loss happens when we consistently eat less.

That’s why this breakfast works.

🥑 Avocado

Three foods that diet culture has told women to fear at different points in time.

Yet this whole meal came in at 374 calories and 27g of protein.

The problem isn’t cheese 👎

The problem isn’t avocado 👎

Because the minute you think a food is “bad”, you spend your life trying to avoid it then end up overeating it when willpower runs out 💯 especially donuts 😃

Real weight loss isn’t about banning foods.

It’s about understanding food.

Eat the cheese.

Eat the avocado.

Have the donut if you want one.

Just learn how it fits into your day.

That’s the difference between another diet and a lifestyle you can actually stick to. 🧡
