⚽️ Friendly V South Park Rangers Whites ⚽️

A big thank you to South Park Whites for hosting the girls in a friendly this morning.

The girls started brightly and matched the boys physically from the start. They played some fantastic football in the first half and went into half-time all square.

In the second half, the boys’ physicality began to show, and unfortunately we allowed them to pull away and take control of the game. We were also missing a number of key players from the squad today, which I think was reflected in the final result.

However, regardless of the scoreline, the girls never gave up and continued to work hard. The coaches were really pleased with their overall performance, effort and attitude.

A big thank you to Heidi, Emmy and Grace for stepping in and guesting for us today while some of our players are away on holiday. 👍🏻

⚽️ Friendly V Prissick Rovers Reds Boys ⚽️

Tonight, the girls took on Prissick Rovers Reds boys in another pre-season friendly.

It was a great opportunity for the girls to get minutes in a variety of positions, and they put up a fantastic battle against the boys. 💪⚽

The entire team, along with our coaches and parents, would like to wish our goalkeeper, Edie, a speedy recovery.

⚽️ Friendly V Dormanstown Rovers U13 ⚽️

Thank you to Dormanstown for hosting our girls this evening in a pre-season friendly.

We knew playing against a team a year older would provide a tough physical challenge. Our girls were a little slow to get the ball moving and found it difficult to settle into their usual rhythm. There were some good passages of passing play, but overall it wasn’t our strongest performance.

We’re looking forward to our weekly training sessions starting again, helping the girls get back into a consistent football routine and return to playing the way we know they can.

A fantastic pre-season training session at the beach this week, focusing on building strength and fitness. The girls worked incredibly hard while embracing a fun change of environment from the usual football pitch. A great session with lots of effort and smiles!

More minutes in the legs for the girls in pre-season. A good game against a battling opposition. The game was used to give girls opportunities of playing in different positions.

Last night we had an in-house friendly with our sisters at BR Reds. There was some great football on show and it turned out to be a really competitive game for the girls.
