After 3 full seasons with Prissick, it’s time to say goodbye to Presto as he hangs up the boots and swaps football for the golf course. ⛳⚽

Presto has been a brilliant defensive player with real pace, someone you could always rely on at the back and most recently on the wings. His performances over the years have played a huge part in the team, and he’ll certainly be missed. While his heart may no longer be in football, we wish him nothing but success and happiness in his next chapter with golf.

We’ll also miss Josh and his legendary weekly match day reports that kept everyone entertained and up to date every week! Wishing you both nothing but the best.

After two fantastic years with us, it’s time to say goodbye to our goalkeeper.

From the moment he joined, he made an immediate impact on the team. Not just with his performances, but with the energy and positivity he brought every single week. No matter the scoreline, he was always there lifting spirits, keeping heads up, and pushing everyone on.

More than just a great player, he’s a genuinely kind, good young man who’s been a pleasure to have around the club. Someone who represents everything you want in a teammate.

He’ll be massively missed by everyone, but we fully support his decision to step away and focus on his love for golf and darts.

After almost 3 years to the day, we say goodbye to Elliot, who will be leaving Prissick.
Elliot joined us during a tough period after leaving his previous team, already knowing a few of the lads he fit straight in. Over the years friendships have grown along the way and will be missed by all. Hes been a pleasure to have, always smiling, polite and tries his best every game. He will be joining Dormanstown for the 26/27 season, having just missed out on the transfer deadline. We wish him nothing but the best and know he'll smash it next year.

Leven v Prissick

Tinashe went close early doors after a flick on from Harrison’s big kick from the back.

Harrison then pulled off a great save diving to his right and palming away.

Henley then flicked one goal wards after good work from Jenson but the keeper was equal to it.

Isaac floated a corner in on 10 minutes and Toby crashed a header goalwards but the keeper saved again.

Prissick took the lead on 15. Isaac and James linking up well down the right. The ball fell to Henley who sent a dangerous ball over the keeper from the right. The ball fell kindly to Tinashe who poked it home on his debut. 0-1!!

Should have been 2 but for some heroic defending. Henley raced down the left and went past 2 defenders. He squared it to El who looked set to pass it home but the defender slid in to block. Great play! Still 0-1.

Leven levelled up early in the second half. 1-1.

Some great work from Matthew brought us up the pitch. Isaac whipped a great cross that got nodded down to Ollie Chew. Ollie fired one at the keeper who saved well. Chewy found the rebound but his shot was wide. Mannion then went through after a great one two with Tinashe but once again the keeper saved.

Mannion was proving to be a real danger with his pace as he raced through again after a great ball through from James who recovered well and played it forward with some neat play. Matthew’s shot was corner bound but the keeper again with an outstanding save came out on top.

The second goal came mid way through the second half. Henley took the ball down with a deft first touch and found Joseph. His ball down the line to Matthew was perfect. Matthew squared it back to Henley but the ball ricocheted out to Jenson who sent a rocket into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box. What a strike! 1-2!

Another quick blow to the Leven defence saw us double the lead. Jenson picked the ball up with a great tackle and danced past 2 defenders. His strike was good but the keeper saved again. The ball fell to chewy who saw another effort saved before Matthew graciously swivelled and slammed home. 1-3!!

MOTM:

Jenson - Captains performance today. Won every tackle. Made every pass. Topped off with a sublime goal.

Henley - A driving force going forward all game. Top quality display!
