Boro Rangers U10 Girls

Another weekend of footy ticked off and a good start for the Boro! UTB ❤️⚽️🙌🏻

First a friendly against a mix of our U11 Reds / Whites / Blues. U11s were on top form and good to see competitive action between the 2 sides 👏🏻

Next up an internal game, plenty of positives and more match practice, with a good few goals, saves and tackles! ⚽️

Then a few of our girls attend the Boro match in full force cheering on the lads! ⬆️👀

Sunday morning unfortunately a game called off last night so a jumbled up team took on Prissick Rovers. The girls started the game brightly but tired towards the end. A good test! ✌🏻

Busy weekend of footy! ⚽️

A group of girls went to South Park Rangers Football Club first ever girls tournament and competed with some good sides! 🏟️

5 girls mixed in with Boro Rangers Girls U11 Reds for a 7v7 friendly, with coach Charlie trying his best inbetween the sticks 🧤

A group of 8 travelled to Seaton Carew to take on an U11 side. Some great football played, goals scored and a great team performance! 🌊🏝️

Evelyn and Jemima mixed in with our Boro Rangers U9 Girls for some 7v7 action at home. ✌🏻

Then Sunday, we hosted 2 internal games mixed with our U9s (and Sian 🧤), 28 girls having a kick about with their mates on a Sunday morning, nothing better ❤️

Mara 🙌🏻 ✍🏻

Another brand new addition, Mara joins us ready for the season starting in September. Mara has been training with us for the last few months, and has started really well after being introduced to matches! ✅

Mara has spent a year previously training with Girls First Academy, and we are so excited to have her for her first season in football! 👊🏻

Buzzing to announce Deziah will be joining our growing GK Union ahead of next season! 🙌🏻

We are excited to watch Deziah’s first season playing football, and can’t wait to see how she grows and improves! Already extremely confident, and has quickly found her voice as a goalkeeper, we are happy to have her on board! 🤩

After impressing in a school football tournament, and then showing great commitment for games and training, it was a done deal! 📑

Darcy 🔥✍🏻

Glad to announce Darcy has joined us over the summer! She has been a great addition so far, getting herself on the scoresheet on a couple of different occasions! ⚽️

Already part of the BR Family, with her sister Indie playing for our Boro Rangers Girls U7, we are so happy she’s decided to make the move as well! 🤝

Tall and strong, we are excited to watch how Darcy develops and improves this season! If her start is anything to go by, we are really looking forward to it! 🫶🏻

Thea ⭐️ ✍🏻

Delighted to announced that Thea has signed for Boro Rangers ahead of the 26/27 season! ❤️⚽️

When we realised she was interested in coming down, it was a no brainer! She joined after the close of last season, and has since shone in training, games and tournaments! 🏆

In the U9 Spring League last season, she tormented both our Blues & Whites, scoring a hat trick in both games, so we were well aware of her talents! 🎩

We’ve thrown Thea straight into the deep end, against both boys and older girls, a challenge she has been more than up for! 💪🏻

She may be small in statue, but has electric footwork and an eye for goal, we are really excited to watch her development this season! 🔝

More weekend action!

An internal friendly with plenty of our girls involved. Competitive game, finishing 2-2 over the 50 minute game. Some good bits of play, some moments of individual brilliance and as always plenty to improve on! ⬆️

Late Saturday morning, a group travelled to CLS for a game against a high level RFYL opponent. A good first half, followed by a disappointing 2nd. Much to work on and thanks to CLS for the runout and hosting us! Great to see Heidi W finding her shooting boots grabbing herself a goal! ⚽️

Early morning friendly action in the sun!
A big thanks to Nunthorpe for hosting us, as they prepare for their first season! 👊🏻⚽️

Girls started brightly with an early goal from Nirvana after Elise played her in behind the backline. Just before halftime Ella powered to shots home from close range. Deziah made a great save at her from post, tipping the ball out for a corner. 👏🏻

The second half, Jemima and Elise both grabbed themselves a goal. Plenty of missed chances, but good to see the girls getting in the right areas! 🤝
