BAFA Game Day 2 is in the history book. We grow, we learn, we evolve!

Roll on game day 3 in 2 weeks!

WHAT A DAY! Today Thunder hosted our very first BAFA game day! We are so proud of how far we have come in 6 months. From 4 guys stood in a park to a BAFA team hosting and mixing it up. Unbelievable.

GAME DAYYYYY! Our second adventure into BAFA starts in a few hours as we welcome everyone to the Thunderdome!

Amazing to think 6 months ago we didnt even exist as a team!

Its gameday eve and tomorrow we welcome everyone to the Thunderdome!

We are more than a flag team at Thunder, we are a community, we are a friendship group, we are safe place and tonight we came together to make sure our pitches are in the best condition possible!

Laughs, beer and a bit of ball thrown in too, what more could you ask for!

Nearly time for BAFA game day 2! We are excited for 3 great games against some really tough opponents and to host a BAFA game day for rhe very first time.

With every game we learn and grow so much and it's fantastic to be able mix it up with some established teams and have the chance to prove we belong!

Another great tune up session tonight ahead of BAFA GD2, we continue to grow as a team and put in the work. It's a process but we are getting there brick by brick!

To think we host our first BAFA game day this weekend, so proud of where we are as a team after such a short period of time! So many amazing people involved with this team!

Dont forget we have our mid week training session tomorrow and everyone is welcome!

No experience, no problem. Flag is super easy to pick up and we teach you everything you need to know!

We are now expanding on the amazing foundations we have laid and we want you to be a part of it with us! We are beginner friendly and offer a full introduction to flag football so why not come down and try us out for free, you have nothing to lose! All equipment is provided!

Another amazing session today, we continue to put in the work and grow as a team. It's amazing to continue to have new players coming down and getting stuck in! Seeing new players develop in the sport is so rewarding and we are delighted to be growing flag football on Teesside!

On bank holiday Monday we had the opportunity to join up with our friends from to play some flag football to help raise money for an amazing cause as part of their weekend of sport!

As a team we raised £170 (plus gift aid) which went to the Headlight Project who do amazing work supporting people affected by su***de.

Golden Smog do some absolutely amazing charity work and are such a friendly bunch of people. We really appreciated the opportunity to join in!
