BAFA Stats! Where to even start with our man mountain James. Pulling in vital touchdowns all season, running routes hard and fast all season even when injured. Even when not catching the ball he was pulling defenders all over the pitch as no one dared leave him alone for a second.
We dont normally share anything from inside the huddle but with Steve's permission we made an exception for this one from after our win. This is the pure emotion of sport and a dream fulfilled.
Last October the team was a pipe dream, by November we existed, come February we entered BAFA, in July we got our first win!
Dont let anyone tell you sport doesn't matter or its just a game, its friendships, its camaraderie, its an outlet, its a opportunity to hit personal goals and prove to yourself you can achieve things you never thought possible, its a place to belong.
You can be a part of this too, we are always recruiting.

BAFA stats! Watching Rab find his feet in flag football has been amazing, to see the confidence grow and the results follow has been a pleasure to watch. Rab has been one of the hardest workers off the pitch putting in hours and hours of extra practice and it paid off with a fantastic game day 6 meaning he finished with the highest tackle tally on the team!

BAFA Stats! Josh was solid and dependable all season on defence adding tackle after tackle to his tally. Josh then pulled off arguably the defensive highlight of the season with a pick 6 that that stay in the memory of everyone that was there for a very long time!! (He also threw in a TD on O that started on our own 5 yard line for good measure).

BAFA stats! Next up is captain fantastic Steve. Steve's season took a seismic shift when he was needed to step into QB but the smile never left his face even under the pressure of something new. His passion for flag and his genuine joy in seeing everyone progress in the sport has been great to see all season.

We are delighted to have teamed up with ANDYSMANCLUB to make sure our members always know where to find support if they need it! We have leaflets and cards in our kit bag that can be discreetly taken as and when they might be needed.
We have always said we are a family at Thunder, a safe place, a support group and somewhere to forget everyday life for a few hours.
We are a fully inclusive team so we are also on the look out for a second charity to champion that can be available for all our members so if anyone has any ideas drop us a message!

BAFA stats! Andys snaps were consistent all season and the stat not shown is how often he bailed out our rookie QB's by giving an easy option or scooping in ridiculous one handed grabs. 4 touchdowns on game day 6 put the cherry on top of Andys rookie season!

Great session tonight under the solar eclipse, was such a good backdrop to play some ball! A great session on both sides of the ball as we lay down the foundations to start building for next season.
