Monmouth A secured a brilliant 4-0 away win over Usk C, guaranteeing promotion and finishing top of the table. 👏

The league title now depends on Newport’s final match, but whatever happens, it’s been an outstanding season. Well done to everyone who represented Monmouth A! 💙💚

A great evening of tennis at Monmouth as our Cymru Kitchens Midweek Summer League team secured an 4-0 victory over Abergavenny. Thank you to everyone from Abergavenny for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. It was a pleasure to have you at the club and we wish you all the very best for the rest of the season. 👏🎾

Congratulations to Sean, Arlo, Paul and Matt, who all remained unbeaten on the night, helping Monmouth to an 4-0 win (50 games to 28).

With just one match remaining, Monmouth now sit joint top of the league with Newport. A huge final match awaits! 💙💛

🎨✨ What a glow up! ✨🎨

Another fantastic day of volunteering at Monmouth Tennis Club, with the team transforming our perimeter fencing with a fresh coat of green paint. 💚🎾

A massive thank you to a small group of 9 of our members for giving up their Sunday lunchtime to get the job done. The courts are looking better than ever, and with only the outside of the fences left to paint, we’re nearly there.

It’s amazing what can be achieved when members come together with a few paintbrushes, plenty of enthusiasm and a shared pride in our club. We can’t wait to show you the finished transformation.

We were delighted to welcome Tennis Wales President, Baroness Sater, to Monmouth Tennis Club this week as part of her visit to clubs across Monmouthshire.

It was a fantastic opportunity to share our journey over the past year, including our recovery following the flooding, the improvements we’ve made to the club, and our exciting plans for the future.

A huge thank you to Alison, Carolyn and Chris for taking the time to meet with Baroness Sater and showcase everything that makes our club so special. Their passion and commitment, along with the incredible efforts of our volunteers and members, are helping Monmouth Tennis Club go from strength to strength.

We appreciate Tennis Wales taking the time to visit and see first hand the thriving tennis community we have here in Monmouth. 🎾💚💙

🎨 What a difference a couple of hours makes! 🎾

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to help paint the fences yesterday. We only managed the first coat on the inside because the timber was so thirsty it seemed to drink every drop of paint we put on it! 🤣

Despite the heat (and a few aching arms today!), the transformation is already incredible and the courts are looking so much smarter.

We couldn’t do projects like this without our brilliant volunteers. Thank you all! 💚 Bring on coat number two! 🙌🏻
