We’re excited to invite men, ladies, seniors, and juniors to take part in Gosforth Golf Club’s Pro’s Day on Saturday, 8th August 2026 – a celebration of golf, community, and fun for everyone.

This year’s event is proudly supported by golfclubs4cash, who will be on-site offering you the chance to trade in any old golf equipment in exchange for a Pro Shop voucher. Whether you bring in old gear or not – you’re very welcome to join the day and enjoy all the activities!

Well done to Ian Ruddick and Kathleen Garrington who won the Fleck Salvers competition yesterday with a fantastic score of 56.

John Mashall and Fiona williams were runners up with 61.

Geoff Dunn and Caroline Ruddick would like to thank everyone for participating and special thanks to Henry, Joe and Jake our juniors who joined in and were amazing!

Yesterday we celebrated our Ladies' Club Championship Finals across all divisions.

It was a fantastic day of golf, with every match played in great spirit and enjoyed by players and spectators alike.

The Gross Championship semi-finals saw Sarah Phillips take on Ashley Kent, while Lilibeth Ratcliffe faced Melanie Garland. Both matches went right down to the closing holes, setting up an exciting final between Sarah and Melanie.

The afternoon final certainly didn't disappoint, with never more than a single hole separating the pair throughout the match. In a thrilling finish, Sarah Phillips secured victory on the 18th hole to be crowned Ladies' Club Champion. 🏆

Congratulations to Sarah and to everyone who took part. A big thank you as well to the many members who came along to support the players and help make it such a memorable day.
