It’s a busy time of year for our team.

It’s hard not get tunnel vision and forget to look around and take stock of where we are and where we are going.

It’s this time of year that we are building our team of seasonal staff (upwards of 60) and the full time are grafting away to make sure everything on track.

Then suddenly something happens unconnected to you but it hits home.

Two days ago, a crew from went to sea on a shout, We were a sea that same night training and taking part in some filming on our life boat .

Very Sadly 2 of the crew from lost their lives trying to save another. Now it might be 11000 miles away the other side of the world but the connection for those that work and volunteer at sea is there. It really made me think and maybe take a step and appreciate what’s going on sometimes…
