Good luck to all our swimmers – swim fast, support your teammates, and most importantly, enjoy every race! We’re all behind you. 💙💛💪

Tomorrow, 6 of our fantastic TASC swimmers are heading to Ponds Forge for the massive ESSA Primary Championships! Kings are officially bringing the power with *both* a boys and girls team ready to rock the pool.

Huge shoutout to the squad: **Alex, Amalfi, James, Peter, Sennen & Thea!** 🙌

They’ll be teaming up with 2 swimmers from North Tyneside to take on the best of the best. For most of the crew, this is their very first time stepping into the legendary Ponds Forge—it is going to be an absolutely grand experience.

We have the pleasure to announce and huge congratulations to Emily and Harriet our two incredible sports Newcastle unsung Hero Award winners 2026! 🏆💙
From the absolute beginners to national finalists, these two utter unsung heros shape the early journey at Tynemouth Swimming Club:

Harriet (The Foundation): The starter spot for our Learn to Swim pipeline. She takes nervous four-year-olds and transforms them into confident, technically skilled young athletes, building the foundation for all our future success.

Emily (The Culture): From elite athlete to dedicated volunteer coach, Emily led our juniors to consecutive Junior Team National Finals (Diddy) while acting as the ultimate mentor—turning performance anxiety into competitive drive.

Behind the scenes, Harriet builds the pipeline and Emily elevates the performance. We couldn’t be prouder of our Unsung Heroes! 🏊‍♂️✨ More photos to follow when they officially get their awards later this week!
