🎾 Last reminder: FREE Northants Disability Tennis Training Session ♿

Coaches, club volunteers and anyone working with disabled people or community organisations are invited to join us on court for a practical session with Mark Bullock, Inclusive Sports Development Advisor.

You’ll build confidence in working with disabled players, explore ways to make sessions more inclusive and learn how to connect with local disability groups.

Walking tennis is for anyone that wants to play tennis, but at their own pace. No running or jumping. Less speed but just as much fun! Ideal for anybody looking to build their confidence, returning from injury, retired and wanting to stay active or would just like a bit more time getting to the ball.

💜 Northants Girls’ Day 💜

What a fantastic day at Northampton County LTC on Sunday, bringing together 22 girls from clubs across the county! 🎾🙌

Players of all backgrounds and levels enjoyed team challenges, fun games, training and plenty of friendly competition—with the Purple Team claiming victory! 🏆💜

Off court, everyone enjoyed some tasty pizza—because who doesn’t love pizza, right? 🍕😄 Each player also took home a goody bag courtesy of event sponsors Turner & Townsend.

It was brilliant to see everyone come together, make new friends and enjoy a fun and supportive day both on and off court.

A huge thank you to our coaching team—Laura, Imogen, Charlotte and Katie—and to everyone who participated and helped organise the event.

Special thanks to Turner & Townsend for their valued support and to Northampton County for hosting us 👏👏

A close finish to the season for the Northamptonshire Men’s O50s, who narrowly lost 3–2 away to Berkshire.

The match went right down to the wire, with the deciding doubles settled by a championship tie-break. Unfortunately, it didn’t go our way, with Berkshire edging it 12–10.

👏 Paul White won his singles 7–5, 7–6
👏 Wayne Tideswell and Christian Rostlund won their first doubles 6–3, 6–2

A great effort from the Northants 16U teams in today’s 12 Championships fixture at Corby Tennis Centre 👏👏

Overall, the girls finished in 2nd place and the boys in joint 3rd with H&W.

Girls results:
▪️1-3 loss vs H&W
▪️2-2 draw vs Berkshire
▪️4-0 win vs Norfolk

Boys results:
▪️2-2 draw vs H&W
▪️1-3 loss vs Berks
▪️0-4 loss vs Norfolk
