This weekend, the Northants 11U teams are in County Cup action at Caunton Lawn Tennis Club (girls) and Stourbridge Lawn Tennis Club (boys).

Any Northants female tennis & padel coaches interested in getting involved?

🎾 Calling Female Tennis & Padel Coaches 🎾
Are you currently pregnant or have young children? We want to hear from you.
We’ve partnered with the Women in Sport Research and Innovation Hub at Loughborough University to better understand how this stage of life is experienced by female tennis and padel coaches—and what support could make a real difference.
We’re looking for self-employed coaches where coaching is your main source of income to take part in the research. You can choose to join:
✅ A 1:1 interview (45–60 minutes)
or
✅ A small online discussion group (60–75 minutes)
Both options offer a supportive, confidential space to share your experiences and help shape future support for coaches across the sport.

🎾 FREE Walking Tennis Activator Training Session 🎾

Interested in introducing Walking Tennis at your club?

In partnership with the Bedfordshire Open Court Tennis Programme, we're delighted to offer a FREE Walking Tennis Activator Training Session.

📅 Tuesday 28th July
🕡 6:30pm – 8:30pm
📍 Sharnbrook Lawn Tennis Club

This practical on-court workshop is ideal for:
✅ Club volunteers
✅ Coaches
✅ Anyone interested in starting a Walking Tennis programme
✅ Existing Walking Tennis activators looking to share ideas and learn from others

🏆 Clubs attending will have the opportunity to apply for a starter equipment pack to help launch their Walking Tennis programme and may also be eligible for county funding support.
