Looking for something fun, active, and a little different to enjoy with family or friends? Come and experience the magic of sailing at our FREE Discover Sailing Open Day & Taster Sessions!

Whether you’re 8 or 88, complete beginner or just curious, this is your chance to get out on the water and try something new in a safe, welcoming environment.

You’ll head out on the water in our stable, family-friendly boats—perfect for sharing the experience together. We provide buoyancy aids, so just bring warm layers and suitable footwear, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Our team will be there throughout the day to guide you, answer questions, and help you explore what sailing at Hollowell is all about. You’re also welcome to stay, relax, and enjoy a drink or snack while soaking up the atmosphere by the water.

Second of our Junior Winter Race Coaching days is coming up on 28th Feb - don't leave it too late to book (bookings close 10 days before). Fantastic value high quality coaching at a our RYA Pathway Club open to all juniors that sail.

RYA First Aid course at Hollowell Saturday 7th Feb. Ideal for anyone thinking of becoming a Coach/ Instructor, or those who regularly help with sailing activities. Book on through WebCollect.

Hollowell Sailing Club: TRAINING & COACHING Hollowell Sailing Club is an approved RYA Training Centre run entirely by members who volunteer their time to provide instruction and on-the-water support. We offer a complete a complete range of dinghy courses for adults, from learning to sail through to more advanced modules. We also...

We are running some race training for our junior sailors at Hollowell over the next few months and sailors from other local clubs are welcome to join us. This is aimed at 9 - 16 year olds who have started racing at least at club or Northamptonshire Youth Series level but including those already racing nationally Ideally sailors will bring their own boats - toppers, teras, optimists or ILCAs. It may be possible to hire our club boats at an extra cost and subject to availability. End of Summer party - but not the end sailing!. Our Pirates Day with rafting, sailing relay races and lots more on BH Monday was a great success. Over 30 kids took part. A big thanks to all those who helped make this a great event. Hollowell SC at its best?
The 'bring a dish' gathering on the Sunday was thankfully a little quieter and the freshly cooked pizza and garlic bread was superb!

Two day racing for the Don Howard trophy add to what was a very busy weekend, with 20 boats out racing.
