Yoga Teacher and Yoga Nidra Facilitator. This is your sign that it's time to relax!

10/06/2026

I've been a little quieter than usual recently.

That's because I've been working away on something behind the scenes that I'm really excited to share with you soon. It's taking up a lot of my attention right now, but I promise it'll be worth the wait.

Before that, I have one event coming up for anyone who feels like they need a proper reset.

Not a quick energy boost. Just two hours to switch off, slow down, release the tension of the week, and give your nervous system a chance to catch up.

📍 Northampton School for Boys
📅 Thursday 18th June
🕡 6:30pm–8:30pm

There are now just 2 spaces remaining, and booking closes at 4:30pm on Wednesday 17th June so I can load the car with bolsters.

If you've been craving an evening to completely unplug, this is your invitation.

Drop me a message if you have any questions, or secure your space using the link below.

What Counts as a “Real” Yoga Practice? 13/05/2026

By dismissing those quieter practices as “not enough”, I had completely undervalued the exact thing that was helping me reconnect with myself, my people and the world around me...

What Counts as a “Real” Yoga Practice? What counts as a “real” yoga practice? Somewhere along the way, many of us absorbed the idea that yoga has to look a certain way to count. This piece explores why sustainable, supportive and adaptable practices might be far more meaningful than the image of yoga we’re often sold.

I know, I know. I desperately need to vacuum the carpet. But, I've spent a lot of time talking about practice over perfect so actually this is an act of practising yoga off the mat. Go me!

Anyway, back to my point, when are you practising yoga this week? It doesn't need to be for long - 5 minutes here or 10 minutes there.

These are snaps from 5 minutes on my mat before class is see if I could reduce the sensation of fury in my quads. It helped a little - I didn't groan all the way through class so that's a massive win!

A tip for when you're working with Warrior 3. I always see these perfect Warrior 3s with the torso/leg parallel with the ground... Truthfully, I've been teaching for nearly 7 years and I rarely see that in a class. Forget about levelling yourself with the ground and focus on finding that long line from head to toe. It really doesn't matter how wonky the top of the T is. I often see how when people let go of the image in their head, they actually feel more stable and steady in their Warrior 3 which is what I want. I want you to feel awesome and balanced whilst standing on one leg rather than frustrated because it's not matching the image in your mind.
