Join us as we come together to raise awareness, share information, and highlight the support available to women during every stage of their menopause journey!

The Nottingham West Social Prescribing Team, in partnership with Nottingham West Primary Care Network -PCN, L Leisure, Lounge 17 Hair and Beauty and other local services, are coming together to host a free menopause awareness event.

The evening is all about bringing local knowledge, advice and support together in one place, helping women to better understand menopause and the options and services available to them.

A great opportunity to learn, connect and access advice in a friendly and supportive environment. 💕🌸

👏 Successful SiSU Health Check Event at Bramcote Leisure Centre!

We're proud to have worked alongside Nottingham West PCN, Your Health Notts and Broxtowe Borough Council to deliver a successful community health event, helping residents better understand and manage their health.

The event saw 21 residents complete a SiSU Health Check, with participants receiving personalised health information, advice and support from local health and wellbeing professionals. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many people commenting on how quick, easy and informative the checks were.

📊 Key outcomes
• 21 health checks completed
• 10% identified with high blood pressure
• 57.1% identified as overweight or obese
• 2 GP referrals generated
• 0% smokers recorded

Events like this demonstrate the value of partnership working in improving health outcomes, connecting residents with local support services, and making it easier for people to take positive steps towards a healthier future. 💙
