🔥 Here’s how I structure a productive leg session 🔥

Today’s line-up:

✅ Ham curls
✅ Single leg RDLs
✅ Good mornings
✅ Single leg hip thrusts
✅ Deficit sumo deadlifts
✅ Deficit curtsy lunges
✅ Single leg hip abductions

You’ll notice I alternate between bilateral (double leg) and unilateral (single leg) exercises 👀

Why? Because training both gives you the best of both worlds 🌍

🏋️‍♀️ Bilateral movements let you move heavier loads, create high mechanical tension, and build overall strength.

🦵 Unilateral movements help improve balance, stability, coordination, and can highlight any strength imbalances between sides.

For most of my working sets, I stay in the 4-8 rep range 📈

Why? Because I’m focusing on progressive overload and getting stronger over time. Research consistently shows that muscle growth is heavily driven by mechanical tension, and lifting heavier loads is a great way to create that stimulus 💪

The goal isn’t to survive leg day... it’s to come back stronger next week 😈

Now excuse me while I attempt to sit down tomorrow 😂🍑

The dogs might think they’re in charge, but every run is part of a bigger goal: my half marathon in October 🏃‍♀️🐕🐕‍🦺
I’ve been paying closer attention to my WHOOP data over the last couple of weeks, and it’s been fascinating to see how my body is responding to training.
Over a 14-day period:
📈 VO₂ Max increased from 34 → 37 mL/kg/min
👣 Daily steps increased from 15.4k → 16.4k
💪 Strength training time increased from 26 → 32 mins/day
❤️ Aerobic training time increased from 23 → 27 mins/day
⚡ Time spent in Zones 4–5 increased from 1.7 → 3 mins/day
The overall trend is pretty clear: more training volume, more aerobic work, a little more high-intensity work, and improved cardiovascular fitness.
One thing I’ve noticed personally is that when I include more Zone 4–5 training, I tend to prefer how I look and feel physically. That’s just my experience—everyone responds differently—but it’s been an interesting observation alongside the performance gains.
So the mission remains:
🏃‍♀️ Train for October’s half marathon
📊 Keep an eye on the data
🐕 Continue being dragged around the countryside by my “coaches”
The science says I’m getting fitter.
The dogs say we need to run faster. 😂

What if I told you women SHOULD lift weights 👀💪

This is your sign to ditch the “tiny pink dumbbells only” mindset 😅
At Euphoria Fitness, we lift heavy, laugh loudly, and leave feeling like absolute badasses 🔥

🏋️‍♀️ Stronger body
✨ More confidence
🔥 Better energy
🍑 And yes… the glutes LOVE it

No egos. No intimidating gym environment. Just good vibes, great coaching, and women getting STRONG together 🤝💖

Cardio is cute… but have you ever hit a PB with your girls hyping you up? 😮‍💨👏

Ready to feel powerful? Your barbell is waiting 😉

I’m a 91kg PT who prefers barbells over miles… yet somehow I’ve signed up for a half marathon in October 🤝💀
Today was session one:
200m ➡️ 400m ➡️ 600m pyramid with 200m walks between 🏃‍♂️
Had to cut it short because my next appointment got moved earlier… but somehow still hit 3.81km without even realising 👀
The mission?
Go from “built for strength” to surviving 21.1km with a semi-respectable time 😂
Come along for the journey of watching a gym girl discover cardio against her will 🫡

🚨 The fitness industry lied to us for YEARS 👀
✨ THIS:
“Exercise has to leave me exhausted to work.”
✨ THAT:
The best workouts are the ones you can recover from & stick to 🤍
🧠 Your body gets fitter through recovery too — not just exhaustion.

✨ THIS:
Hours of cardio trying to “burn off” food.
✨ THAT:
Building strength so your body feels healthier, stronger & more energised 💪
🧠 Strength training supports muscle, metabolism, mobility & long-term health.

✨ THIS:
Starting over every Monday.
✨ THAT:
Creating a routine that fits your real life 👏
🧠 Consistency always beats extreme “all-or-nothing” plans.

✨ THIS:
Punishing yourself with exercise.
✨ THAT:
Training because you respect your body, not because you hate it 🤍
🧠 Enjoyable routines are much easier for your brain to maintain long term.

✨ THIS:
Thinking fitness has to be all-or-nothing.
✨ THAT:
Small habits.
Strength training.
Support.
Patience.
Progress that actually lasts ✨
🧠 Sustainable habits create better long-term results than short-term extremes.

At Euphoria, we focus on helping build strength, confidence & healthy routines without extreme workouts or intimidating gym culture 🤍
If you’re tired of starting over and want support that actually feels realistic, message us START ✨

One of the best things about Euphoria is seeing so many different people training together.
Different ages.
Different fitness levels.
Different goals.
But they all have one thing in common:
They wanted to feel better.
Stronger. Healthier. More confident. More energised.
Some people walk in wanting to lose weight. Some want to build strength. Some want more confidence. Some just want to enjoy exercise again.
And honestly? That’s what makes this place special 🤍
No pressure to “look” a certain way.
No intimidating environment.
No needing to already be fit before you start.
Just real people showing up for themselves.
And we’re proud of every single one of them.
If you’ve been wanting to start but feel nervous walking into a gym, send us a message — we’d love to help 😊

Some client journeys deserve privacy, not before & after photos 🤍
I’m sharing this because stories like this are exactly why I do what I do.
One of my clients left this review recently, and although I won’t be posting photos or naming her, I wanted to share her words because I know so many women will relate to this journey.
“As a 58 year old I had been struggling with the effects of the menopause and my muscles had become weak - impacting balance and mobility. Holly has been incredibly helpful- building my confidence and ability each week- totally personalised to my own pace. Now my body feels 10 years younger and my mood is much lighter.”
This is what strength training can do.
Not just physically — but mentally too.
Confidence.
Energy.
Mobility.
Feeling strong again.
Feeling like yourself again.
And this is also why I believe every fitness journey is personal.
Not everybody wants photos online. Not everybody wants their body used as marketing. Some transformations are quieter than that — but no less powerful.
Sometimes the biggest progress is:
✔️ moving without pain
✔️ feeling confident again
✔️ improving balance and strength
✔️ having more energy
✔️ enjoying exercise for the first time
I’m so proud of every woman who walks through our doors and chooses to start.
Especially when it feels scary at first 🤍
If you’ve been thinking about starting strength training but don’t know where to begin, send me a message — I’d love to help.

Week 3 is usually where people quit 😅
Not because they’ve failed 🤍
Because motivation fades before habits are built.
I’m feeling that myself right now getting back into training 💪🏼
Tired, busy, sore… trying to find my routine again 🫠
But this is the part that actually matters ✨
Not perfection.
Just continuing to show up 👏🏼
If you’re struggling right now, you’re definitely not alone 🖤
The people who get results aren’t motivated every day — they just keep going 🫶🏼
Save this as your week 3 reminder 📌
And if you need support getting back into training, send me a message 💌
