Condors and friends of Condors repping over the 2025-26 Cyclocross Season! We had an excellent time getting muddy and getting stupid with bikes. It was so brilliant to see so many Condors having a go this year!

We also got some top results! Our focus has been on the much-loved (and quite competitive) Wessex League and we’ve had several top tens across categories including Lucy Harris - ProNoctis, now Draft (2nd & 3rd), Ella Witts (4th), Kristen Lovelock (8th, 3rd, 5th, 5th, 4th, 4th & 8th), Paige Fitzsimmons (8th, 8th, 6th, 7th & 6th), Sinéad Hayes (4th), Emma Cadoux-Hudson (9th), Justin Bucktrout (7th, 9th, 7th & 5th) and, friend of Condors, Jack Tanner - Boulder Junior Cycling (1st). Current AG overall standings: Tim Doole (9th), Kristen Lovelock (4th), Paige Fitzsimmons (7th), Ella Witts (8th). Well done to all of the awesome CXers this season: Will Carter, Mostyn Brown, Andrew Haines, Pete Smith, Alain Torri, Rob Griffiths, James Illman, Ben George and Bruce Biccard! I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone!

We’ve also raced in the Central League races, Regional and National Trophy. Races remaining: Andover, Nationals and New Forest. Good luck Condors!!! If you want to get involved get in touch with our race secs or anyone listed here!

Many thanks to the Wessex League for hosting such an incredible series of races! Big up to Steve Avery and Liam Tommey for help at races! And to Sinéad’s dog Paddy for being beautiful. Also, a huge thanks to all of the photographers out there including Pitchside Paul , Paul Smith , Liam, Rob & Becci!

2025 Condors Women Racers End-of-Season Roundup!

We have smashed the local racing scene, and we continued to welcome racers into the fold throughout the year.

We came 2nd in the ORRL team prize, with Charmian taking 3rd and Zoe in 5th overall. Fantastic teamwork by all!

We had an impressive 25 women race the TTTs at WotG with Condors wins every time. We also had fantastic results at the Dalton crits with Ella Witt’s win and buckets of Condors top tens.

Outstanding achievements by Condors representing other teams: Lucy Harris (ProNoctus now Draft) won CiCLE Classic, Ella Brown (FTP) 11th in the TransContinental & Maria Holdcroft (GB) 4th in E-Sports Worlds.

Condors Racing Awards: Most Improved: Paige Fitzsimmons. Best Teamplayer: Emma Horn. Best Newcomers: Emilia Miller & Nicole Schafer. Best Ultra-Racer: Ella Brown, special mention to Rachel Fort. Best Race Performances: Zoe Schwerkolt & Ella Witts.

This year, we have:

- Created a mentorship programme.

- Helped riders get into racing, built race skills and camaraderie.

- Focussed on smart and safe racing.

- Worked together to improve our chances, racing as a team and winning as a team.

- Improved performance through inclusion.

- Built a full women’s team with incredible strength in depth.

- Worked hard, done really well, and had fun!

Come for our next team ride on the 3rd of January! All welcome!

Love from the Condors Women’s Race Secretary, Kristen Lovelock.
