Special recognition award for Callaway Chrome Tour No.2 🏆 he’s a survivor and deserves an award after yesterday…

Basically to cut a long story short I was spraying shots “all ower the parish” at Silloth on Solway ⛳️ on Saturday. I just couldn’t get a swing going and literally had no idea where shots would end up..

Fast forward to the 5th hole and walking up to the 6th tee as I reach in my bag and find my last ball… after five holes I’d lost 5 balls, scored zero points and barely finished hole 😳

“Right No.2 it’s you and me, your brothers are lost, no pressure but you’re the only survivor and basically you need to make it to the 18th or I’m out” (much to the amusement of the group 😅)

He listened, and after a couple more minor attempts to lose him, we steadied the ship, fought back and even managed 3 birdies on the back 9 to finish 3rd place in our group game! It was a tough game, but what a laugh we had amongst the chaos 😄

Amazing how a bit of perceived pressure can sharpen you up.. however, I’m definitely not trying the “maybe you should only carry 1 ball every game” idea by Jck Stbbngs & David Stubbings

Would you look at those views 😍 easy to be distracted away from golf when it’s 360 degree views like this!

Here’s a few photos from last weeks game on the Hadrian Course, a fab 9-hole layout which offers a fair test of golf avoiding water hazards and ball eating rough to plot your way around. It also offers fantastic skyline views across the countryside. Quick game after work? - perfect!
