Meet the Grinds ⛰️🔥

Short distance. Serious ascent. Two races with one simple objective: get to the summit as fast as you can.

🏁 Finish: Harrison Stickle summit

Straight out of Lanty Slee’s Stickle Barn and upwards. Run, power hike, suffer, repeat, all the way to the top of one of the iconic Langdale Pikes.

🏁 Finish: Helvellyn summit

From the valley floor, through Red Tarn and then onto the rocks of Swirral Edge for the final push to the summit of Helvellyn.

No ultra distances required. Just burning legs, bursting lungs and a finish line on top of a mountain.

Meet the Great Langdale 21 ⛰️🌿

21km. 850m of ascent. One beautiful lap of Great & Little Langdale.

Part of our Scafell Skyrunning Weekend, the Great Langdale 21 combines technical trails and footpaths with some of the best mountain scenery in the Lakes, all from our event base at Lanty Slee’s Stickle Barn.

Meet the Place Fell 15 ⛰️🌿

15km. 680m of ascent. A brilliant introduction to racing in the Lake District mountains.

Starting from Patterdale, the Place Fell 15 follows semi-technical trails and footpaths around the base of Place Fell, with beautiful running along the shores of Ullswater. It’s tough enough to challenge you, but accessible enough to be a great first step towards our more technical mountain races.

Meet the St Sunday Sky Race ⛰️

29km. 2,050m of ascent. Your step into the world of skyrunning.

Starting from Patterdale, the St Sunday Sky Race takes you over St Sunday Crag and around the Eastern Fells, combining technical mountain trails with big Lakeland climbs, without the more extreme ridges found in some of our longer races.

Meet the Scafell Sky Ultra ⛰️🔥

63km. 4,400m of ascent. One huge journey through the Central and Southern Lakes.

Starting in Great Langdale, the Scafell Sky Ultra takes you over steep, technical mountain terrain, through Wasdale, across Scafell Pike, England’s highest summit, and into the Coniston Fells before the final push back to Langdale.
