And as irrepressible as ever beats his age by 17 strokes on a Scratch 71 🏆

Eagle 🦅 2. Stewart Smillie fires in an unbelievable effort on the 12th!! Superb effort on one of the most difficult Par 3s in the Country!!! 👏👏👏

All at Craigie Hill Golf Club were incredibly proud to host the 1st Be The Best Football Academy Golf Day on Friday May 29th.

Many of our members took part in the Texas Scramble of the day (pics!!) - with a few picking up top Golf and Raffle Prizes.

The day was really all about the support of this great youth football academy and contributing to help develop youngsters in the local community - hopefully into future sports stars!!! 👏👏👏

But, a fantastic time was certainly had by all before, during and after the round !!! 🏌️🍺🏌️

The Day also saw a retirement presentation for Steve Sullivan -- who after 50 years of Greenkeeping service to the Hill has decided to put the feet up. We will still see Steve and Tony playing up the Hill - hopefully for many years to come 👏👏👏

Fantastic day at Craigie Hill Golf Club as we reignited the Virginia Trophy match against our good friends from The Island.

An event that has been played since 1972 - it was great to get this one back on the calendar 📆

In a 4-ball better ball format - it was a great competitive 10 v 10 match format.

The Hill, with all the local course knowledge, ran out 4.5 to 0.5 winners on the day.

Back to the Island in 2027 to defend the title !!! 🏆🏌️

Many thanks to the guys from King James GC - and see you all again next year !!!!

Business Cup Brilliance – Friday.
Friday afternoon brought all the excitement and camaraderie of the annual Business Cup to Craigie Hill Golf Club.
Teams from across the business community gathered for a day of friendly rivalry, great golf, and plenty of laughs.
The atmosphere was buzzing as players enjoyed the challenge of the course and the chance to connect both on and off the fairways.

🧙 PAG League Fun and Laughter – Saturday.

Saturday afternoon saw a completely different kind of golfing spectacle as the PAG League took over the Hill.
The course was alive with energy, laughter, and a touch of magic as the players embraced this new-style golfing format.
While the fun factor was sky-high, the competitive spirit was just as strong, creating a perfect balance of entertainment and sport.
Spells were cast, friendships strengthened, and memories made that will last long after the final putt dropped.

At just £5 entry per player, this is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring junior golfers to test their skills on a course that will be at its absolute best in August.
