FIXTURES ANNOUNCEMENT!

Next up we have confirmation of the 2nd XV fixtures as they head in to Merit League action once again.

After a successful first season back as a properly established side saw the 2s meet our target of completely two thirds of their fixtures, they'll be looking to kick on even more this season.

As part of a trial this season, the opening and closing weekends are being played as "Festival Weeks" with multiple teams coming together at a single venue to play a round robin style day lg rugby. Venues for both to be confirmed.

With the league played under the RFU's "Game On" regulations, the best way we can describe it is social rugby with bragging rights! If this sounds like a bit of you then now is the perfect time to get involved.

Now that the league fixtures are out we can start work on filling out the calendar for the Old Monks, so it true Vets rugby is more your pace keep an eye out over the next few weeks.

FIXTURES ANNOUNCEMENT!

With the league make up now confirmed we are finally able to reveal the fixtures schedule for our 1st XV for the coming season.

After an injury hit season last time out ultimately saw the Navy and Gold relegated the lads will be looking to make an immediate return to level 8.

Your support made a huge difference during our title winning season and you can be the 16th man again, so get the dates in the diary!

As the temperatures have rocketed again this week, and are set to be well above 30 degrees again tomorrow, we've made the decision to cancel our Friday Night Fun this week.

The forecast for next week is looking much better so all being well we will be back next week.

In the meantime stay safe.

With the weather not set to get cooler until next week we have made the decision to cancel our juniors Friday Night Fun this week.

With temperatures due to still be well over 30 degrees well in to the evening we feel that in the interests of safety this is the best option.

We will be back as normal from next Friday though when, hopefully, we will all feel a little less like we are melting!

TRAINING CANCELLED

We're sure you saw this coming!

With the red heat warning currently in place, and temperatures expected to continue to soar, we have taken the decision to cancel senior training this week in the interest of player welfare.

We will continue to monitor the forecast and provide an update later in the week regarding this week's Friday Night Fun.
