Weekly round up

A busy week started with members of Exeter Schools CCF joining us at our unit for some CQB training, conducting 2,4 and 7 man team drills and weapon handling on the range. The Royal Marines brought along some of their kit for the cadets to handle.

Wednesday we took our yearly trip to Sky HQ in London to be part of their armed forces day. The range was popular as ever. This year running pistol shooting at paper targets (office stress relief I heard it called 😂) and friendly competition rifle shooting against the interactive targets.

DRAKES ISLAND UPDATE

As some of you are aware we have had to cancel May and June game days.

Unfortunately, we have been informed today that we still wont be able to get back on the island for July and August due to ongoing issues.

For players booked on July and August games, a cancellation email will be sent out with further information and about refunds, these should be with you by Friday.

Please only reply to these emails about the game days so we can keep track. Emails may go to your junk/spam folders.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused. As you can imagine, this is out of our control.

Please bare with us as we get this sorted.

Information on Sep and Oct games will come out as a when we have updates on access.

Great to see so many people out enjoying the day and supporting the Armed Forces community.

Glorious weather for today’s BHP Fuel Fest | Devon Carshow

Top shot changed hands quite a few times over the day, with Marley winning with 49.

After missing out on the Time Trial top shot, Ash took the Pistol Prize shoot with a quick time of 29.7 secs.

Thanks to everyone who came to the 2v2 night on Saturday.

Great fun had and lots of good calls and trades.
