The ยฃ12million Arena provides facilities for Athletics (8 lane track), Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football (5 grass pitches) Hockey (2 floodlit all weather pitches) Netball and Tennis (4 floodlit courts) and Cycling (1.5 km circuit). Weโre delighted to welcome Bolton Arena Walking Football Club back to the Dick, Kerr Ladies Cup 2026, with teams entered in both the Over 40โs and Over 50โs competitions.
A dominant force in the tournament, their Over 40โs side are the current champions, having taken home the coveted trophy for the last 4 years ๐
Weโre looking forward to seeing both teams back in action this June!

Weโre excited to be launching a series of Les Mills Virtual classes at the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre as part of the Active Wellbeing Project, starting Monday 16th March during Neurodiversity Celebration Week.
These sessions are designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for neurodiverse students and staff, helping to make physical activity more accessible across campus.
โจ Small class sizes (maximum 6 participants)
โจ Quieter studio environment
โจ Supportive and welcoming sessions
These classes are particularly suitable for those who may prefer smaller groups or feel less comfortable in a busy gym environment.

Weโre delighted to welcome Workington St Josephโs back to the Dick, Kerr Ladies Cup 2026. A familiar team in the tournament, they have been participating for a number of years and always bring great competition to the day.
In 2024, their captain Kate Smith had an outstanding tournament, winning both the Leading Goal Scorer โ Florrie Redford Award and the Player of the Tournament โ Lily Parr Award ๐

A regular part of the tournament, Liverpool Feds have enjoyed great success in recent years โ with their Over 50โs team winning the Shield in 2022 and the Cup in 2023 ๐
